I think I'll give your first story a go.
I don't want to judge what I have not read. Besides, I prefer Non-Narnian stories because they let the reader see into the writer's soul, not from the idea of somebody else.
Okay...Sounds like a story I would not read to be honest, but that is what the Writing topic is for. To experience new things.
