Because she asked me to ban her. And when I said all she had to do is just not come on anymore, no, she insisted that I make it impossible for her to log in. So I did.
I can't promise how prompt I'll be, but as someone who loves to write but never gets to, I would be glad to help someone who is making a serious go at writing.
hahaha! I have to be honest with you; I haven't seen the Hobbit yet. I had no time because of work. I'll hope to see it anytime soon though. I heard it was very good but as usual PJ always has to twist the storyline
Thank you Joseph for your candidness, and for your willingness to help. I have not heard from any of the other folks in the invitation to nominate/judge, so I guess that is indicative of what you have already shared: the pickings are too slim at this point to hold Fanfic Awards for works posted last year 2012.
Excellent! Being in garb makes it all the more fun. I hope sword carrying will be allowed, as it kind of enhances the cultural aspect of the outfit (plus it would be good in case of an emergency).
Care to take a whack at Inkspot's cheap shot at capitalism in the Jadis in London thread? I'd do it myself, but you're more knowledgable on the subject, and I'd probably just come across as disrespectful.
Thanks -- I wonder what kind of building with that name would merit its own postcard in a set of cards highlighting Leningrad (these are really old ones before the name restoration)?
Hi Joseph,
Does Dom Knigi mean "house of books" in Russian? I came across an old postcard I had picked up in St. Petersburg (not long after it had changed names back from Leningrad) and it is of a multi-storied building with Dom Knigi on top.
blessings, Linda
