Aha, thankee! And as to your thought about the Redwall creatures being confined to seafood and vegetation, some (meaning mainly vermin) do eat eggs and birds. There are also cannibals in the series, but yes, quite a few don't eat flesh.

Sure. It seems like a decent ending for her. The fight was kind of surprising--I did not expect Marquette to protect Juanita in a way that bold. But it was certainly effective.
