Well, actually, I never looked at it that way... I just write. Not a very good technique... I'm not good at poetry, but writing is kind of natural.

Yes, Vanessa is a sweetie - I've really enjoyed her energy and optimistic enthusiasm over time. When she and her mom came over to the US and got to tour New York I really wished I was on the east coast, it would have been fun to get to meet her. I'm clear over in Oregon, however... oh well! They obviously had a good time, and it before her mom got sick too, so I was glad they made it there when they did.

She is an angel!!! I was very delighted and enthusiast when I saw her name. I immidiatly recognized her from the LOTR site. We all joined the decipher's board where Prim used to be one of the mods. But as Prim also will remember the site had troubles. Far more worse than over here. We couldn't get online for days sometimes and when we wanted to post it took hours and then the message was: Failed to send email.....We laughed about it and made some jokes. Then Prim and her hubby Treblemaker decided to create a wonderful home we all could join. And until this day the site never had big troubles. So I think you will like Prim because she is very funny and a great writer! You should have read her story about the Sackville-Bagginses!

And about the last words Joe.....that's true! That's why we (you and me) are getting along so well!!

Gracious, I'm quite the relative newcomer to your lovely home online - I admit that I am surprised you would consider gracing me with one of your verses so soon.
I suppose my main factors are gardening, classic Doctor Who, Tolkien, writing, poetry and church history - but I really have only shown a tiny portion of that here, I am still simply enjoying soaking up the wisdom and entertaining commentary. Perhaps it would be more of a 'connection' to here that I am Starflower's mom and have known dear Vanessa for nigh on eight years now through my own lotr site, so I don't seem too much a stranger.

btw, I'm greatly, greatly enjoying your extended ballad for Sophia Renee - haven't finished it yet, but getting there... I'm to where they're going to be wed and he's building a house. Heavens, the amount of work and research, etc. you've put in, and the resulting compelling tale, certainly a work worthy of admiration and readership.
