yeah I do that a lot, I usually hear songs everywhere and I like the songs, but I couldn't tell you the band who sings it! lol my friends like to make fun of me because of that.. but its all good.
Back when there was wide-open roleplaying here, I played as a superhero called Grey Eagle. Of several powers I gave myself, my favorite was control over heat and cold. If you had that power with precise accuracy, you could do all sorts of things. For instance, if anyone threatened you, you could raise the temperature inside his skull by a few degrees--until the effect of fever made him totally powerless.
oh and I like the Fray a lot too! Superchic[k] is awesome as well! Flyleaf's most famous song is All Around Me... you've probably heard it, but never realized they sung it...

Like the products of the comics company that created Superman and Batman, the X-Men have been around long enough (nearly fifty years!) that they've sort of had to ignore passage of time. The three most popular X-Men, Wolverine, Nightcrawler and Storm, weren't even in the series for its first decade or so. (Nightcrawler's power is teleportation, Storm's power is that she can control the weather.)

I'm an Aragorn fan *sigh* lol yeah I absolutely love the soundtracks too. well I like a lot of stuff... uhmm I like Christian Punk/Rock music; Fireflight, Flyleaf, This Beautiful Republic, Skillet... and I like Alternative; Paramore, Coldplay, Hawk Nelson, Relient K, the list goes on and on. lol how about you?

I saw where you asked about Wolverine. In case you haven't been told by now, Wolverine is one of the superheroes in "X-Men" comicbooks. His main power is superhuman self-healing, which makes him almost impossible to kill. This makes him a major wish-fulfillment figure in a world where people have an understandable fear of being defenseless victims of violence. -
