ah. That makes sense. One of my cousins is from Kanses. Now she is experiencing Oregon summers... much colder

Yes, pretty well. But the new prayer topic, about a martial-arts student being bullied by the teacher, has renewed an old emotional problem for me. I refer to feelings of frustration. The world is full of tyrants, terrorists and bullies, who love to pick on those weaker than themselves; and I wish I could do something about it besides just SAYING that it's wrong. But God, for reasons He never tells, has ALWAYS preferred to keep me powerless, not allowing me to have ANY power to do ANYTHING about the evil in the world.

A doctor's appointment for my foot if she can work me in. If not I have a stack of old casette tapes I'm transferring to CD that I'll probably be working on.

Hehe, house cleaning is always fun.

Yeah, I still have a VCR and a handful of VHS tapes I don't want to part with.

Oh, yeah, I adore Irish accents, and everything Celtic. I love Celtic Woman, Enya, those sort of music groups. My favorite is Secret Garden; that's them in my picture album.
