    I grew up with it, too. I found my super old VHS from the mid-90s yesterday when I was cleaning my closet. :p I love Irish things. :)

    Yes, it is hard to choose. Sam is a very like-able character. My favorite character fluctuates between Sam and Frodo. I love all the hobbits and Galadriel as well. I also really like the elf Glorfindel (in the movie, Arwen absorbed his part by taking Frodo over the river...)

    yes, I have many friends in books ;) :D I really love to read Lord of the Rings, The Edgwick Lamplighter series (which is basically a lotr rip-off), Princess Bride, How to Train Your Dragon... etc etc... haha Books are pretty much amazing :D

    Ah, that is how I am too... I lost my will to read in college and am just now getting it back. I have never heard of the Tithe series before... but I do love faerie stories :D
