    As for your story, of course you're contending with a built-in spoiler effect: Star Wars fans already _know_ what will ultimately happen to Obi-Wan, and how the Empire will fall in the end. But you're doing well at being dramatic.
    Years ago, there was a CRAZY roleplay which spilled over into more than one thread. Within bounds of decency, it was anything goes. "Mrs. Gil-Galad Took" played as Hans Christian Anderson's Snow Queen, while I played as the Scott Glenn and Kevin Costner characters from "Silverado." MGGT surprisingly fell into the omnipotent-female obsession, insisting that she could simply dominate my characters and they couldn't do _anything_ about it; so I just brought in _Aslan_ to humiliate the Snow Queen in return!

    Have you looked at the permanently-retained portion of Writing Club called Marketplace of Technique? It exists for the very purpose of enhancing your skills, and secondarily of sharing tips about how one may market one's work.
    That is merely a style choice on my part, serving the same purpose as regular underlining. I first took it up when writing in circumstances where it was hard to _get_ any "special effects."
