  • I agree with you on Narnia. I have yet to read LOTR. However, I read The Hobbit for fun in high school and I adored it.

I really like Harry Potter and Twilight. Romeo and Juliet is amazing. My favorite play by Shakespeare would have to be Taming of the Shrew. My favorite play overall is The Crucible. I also really love The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons. I could go on for hours about all the great books I've read.
A little bit of everything. Mostly reality fiction. I read books by authors like Jodi Picoult (I actually have a book signed by her ;)) and Sarah Dessen. As of late, I've been getting more into fantasy books. I haven't really read a lot of science fiction...maybe one day. You can't go wrong with historical fiction either.

    What about you?
Hi. I just saw that you're going to see Fireproof (on the "What Was The Last Thing You Watched?" thread) tonight. I was thinking of seeing that today, will you let me know what you think of it? :)
I hate what they are doing. Even PJ didn't go that far from a path. They are going to add characters who don't belong in the book. It shouldn't be so hard to stay a bit on the same road?

Yes! You are a gondorian king and a hobbit and a tolkiennite :D
Yes. They are not staying true to the books. That's why some people don't even bother to see VotDT when it's released.

TEEHEEE!!! I'm so glad you like it Jeff :D
Do you role play? I am looking for someone to play a king, like a Narnian King-like AND play Aslan in another world with another name and another resemblance. Are you interested?
When I was in Oxford University a couple of years ago they had a giant library where all books are kept. Many copies are made. I think they prolly have them all
The original ones are very expensive  I have seen them and in euros they are much more expensive. But such great books are a joy to have. The story never stops to amaze me :D
When you put them all together a beautiful sight appears :D
I have seen then one with Gandalf on the front. This picture by Alan Lee is burned in my head.
Exactly!!! I don't care for the movie editions but the one with the beautiful paintings. Alan Lee has drawed beautiful and gorgeous sketches and those books are worth so much more than the movie ones. (I don't talk about money here ;)
There are a lot! I believe even more than the Narnia ones. How many movie editions are made? I have seen one with Arwen on the front page and one with Merry and Pippin and with Frodo. But there are more.
