Its PG-13 for "intense moments and violence". In other words,it has a couple frightening (but completely non-violent scenes) and an offscreen death of a character. The only true violent scene involves a non-fatal stabbing of a main character that isn't pleasant,but not gory in any way.
Its a beautiful story,really,much more romance than thriller.
