Yup. Really. It was a "short essay" that was niether short, nor an essay (sound Dufferish already?)--it was actually a creative writing piece, where we were to write a frame narrative (a story within a story). So I wrote a rather highly fictionalized version of myself writing a story and posting it on NF . . . :D Dufferland came in for a brief mention. And guess what? My English teacher loved it. :D In fact, wanted me to submit it to a writing contest on campus. So, the moral of the story is . . . the more time you spend of NF, the better your grades will be . . .
