A Fantasy Story

I haven't read a lot, but what I have read I like quite a bit. I look forward to continuing my reading.

Of course, if you are right and the elves are bad guys, then they would be bad guys that look like good-guys-that-look-like-bad-guys. Either that or they'd be just plain bad guys, but either way it's not what you said Elindil does... :D

"I kniht 'eehs' si rieht drow rof Fle." The man answered. "Tub I nac ton eb erus."
"Hmm..." The man turned back to Leif. "By 'Shee' do you mean, 'Elf'?"
"Yes," nodded Leif, "Didn't you know that?"
"No, now tell me, who gave you the sword?"
Leif shrugged, "Someone gave it to my err...Father to give to me."
"What was your father's name?"
"My father's not dead!" Snapped Leif, though he didn't know if it were true or not. "So don't speak as though he is!"
"I beg your pardon, liar." Hissed the elf, his green eyes flashed dangerously. "Even though your father is dead. Don't think for one moment you can fool me with your lies, any elf can see through a lie as easily as you mortals can see through..." The elf paused, trying to think of something humans could see through. "...Glass!" The elf pushed the sword through his belt. "Now I'm going to put you to sleep, mortal."
"You'll do nothing of the kind!" Leif spat. "You may have been able to force Frida into drinking that stuff, but you'll not force me!"
"You don't want to drink? That is alright, I'll use another way." The elf pulled his knife from his belt.
Leif was amazed at how sharp it looked. It was beautifully made, he, being a smithy should know that much. For a moment he wondered what the elf was going to do with it. Slit his throat?

Noooooooooooooooooooo!*Has just finished catching up* NOOO NOO NOOO!!! Don't do this too me!!!

Only joking :p Great additions :)

That's all!

But no, the elf had walked over to a willow tree, knelt down next to it's trunk, and was whispering to it, his red lips almost touching the bark. By straining his ears Leif managed to hear what the elf was saying, even though he couldn't understand him.
"Olleh Ydal Wolliw," The elf whispered. The tree seemed to sway slightly, even though there was no wind, and her leaves brushed his head ever so gently. "Si lla llew htiw uoy?" Leif heard a gentle creaking. The elf laughed. "Taht si doog. Ym Ydal Wolliw, I evah a noob ot geb fo uoy, tub tsrif uoy yam ksa eno fo em." The elf listened for a moment. "Erom retaw? Ylniatrec." Then the elf began to repeated what sounded to Leif like a spell. "Ereht," He said, "hguone?" The tree creaked it's yes.

Err...*translates*
As for elves being bad guys, consider the word (right?) in dungeons and Drangons.
Hmmm...Never read/ or seen (if it's a movie) before! :p
