Suddenly Edmund tripped, rolling right into a ditch though luckily this time it was a much smaller ditch then the others he had fallen in.
"Oh Ed!!" Susan rolled her eyes, "Why must you be so clumsy!"

"Who new their was a ditch here!!" he retorted, climeing out of it only to slip on the mud and fall right back in.

LOretta dragged him out. "Ed, we must keep moving if we don't want our heads bitten off by wolves then left to rot!"

Peter sighed. "Ed really...."

Mary SUe just kept walking, the faster her pace was, the more theirs increased.
 
"It's not my fault I fell into a ditch!!" Edmund remarked, hearing the holws of wolves from behind them off in a distance, "Oh great..." he began running with the rest of the group.
Lucy and Grace were at the end of the group for it was hard for them to keep up.

"Come on, up this tree!" Mary Sue exclaimed, quickly helping everyone up with the help of Loretta. Just as the wolves came into veiw they dissappeared in the tree tops. "Shhhhhhhhhh..." she warned.

"Not again!!" Edmund exclaimed in an annoyed whisper. he growled under his breath but said no more when Susan hit him lightly to get him to shut up.
the wolves were sniffing around at the base of the tree trying to catch their sent.
Suddenly Lucy lost her balance, before she new it she was haning from the branhc of the tree, one wrong move and she would be wolf chow. "Peter!!" she cried in a whisper.
the wolves looked up quickly hearing the sound of the creeking brach when Lucy fell.

Peter pulled her up onto his lap. Mary Sue gestured for everyone to follow. She nodded toward the middle of the tree where there was a hole, big enough for all the Pevinsie's to fit through.

seeing Mary Sue's gesture Susan and the others quickly made their way into the hole, Lucy holding onto Peters hand, afraid of falling off.
 
She led the way. The tree trunk was hollow and she led them down down down until the thought they'd walk straight to hell but then the tunnel turned underneath the ground. "Told you..." Mary Sue whispered. Loretta brought up the back, closing the bark so the wolves would be clueless to buy them time.

Edmund tried catching his breath, "It feels like we've been walking forever!!"
"Oh Ed thats just becuase your so out of shape!!" Lucy smirked once they were inside and Loretta has closed the bark of the tree. they could her the wolves angry voices howling outside. They were now searching each of the trees.

the wolves got frustrated when they couldn't find them and started digging at the vary tree they were hiding in.
Susan screamed, "Thiers no way they can get in right!?"

"Hey!! whats that sopposed to mean!!" Edmund retorted.

"Loretta lead them!" Mary Sue orderd. She rushed back. She'd try to fight them off because they might think they had a den for they didn't know Mary Sue was with them.

"That you're slow!" Loretta quickly led the line faster and faster.

"Where is she going?" Lucy asked Peter, looking back behind at Mary Sue.

"am not!!" Edmund retorted jogging up alongside her.

Mary Sue went to the entrance where the wolves were digging. She growled, swiping at their paws, yelling about invading priacy of a chimpmunk.


"Don't worry Lucy, she knows what's shes doing..." Loretta reassured her. "Now quiet they might hear us...." Loretta warned.

With that Lucy kept qiuet, but Ed on the other hand couldn't seem to keep his mouth shut. He kept going on about how some of the trees ants were bighting him on the arm. "Ed...shut up!" Susan scolded in an annoyed whisper.
"But it hurts!" he defended, swiping the ants off his arm the best he could.

the wolves didn't reconize who it was so they growled in defence and kept on digging some of them trying to swipe Mary Sue back. "Let us in little chipmunk...were not here to hurt you...its the litte Kings and Queens the their pet sqiurrel were after!!!"

ooc: Loretta is sqiurrel in this one...right? or is she human..? lol :p

"BUT THE ANTS!!!" Edmund exclaimed so lud the wolves heard him from outside.


"Ha! theres the proof I just heard one of their voices!! the one my Queen was this close to killing if it wasn't for that lion!!" one of the wolves growled, the others continued to dig but were swiped with May Sue's claws.

"Nice going Ed!!" Susan smacked him over the head.

Loretta glared at Ed. "You all get going fast! I'll barricade the tunnel!" she started to throw up a dirt wall that would lock the wolves and Mary Sue out. "please Mary Sue, be smart!"

"I didn't hear a thing, its probably your imagination. You dogs don't have a lick in hearing like us chimpmunks I stricktly just heard a baby bird complaining about its mother about ants." she gave them a look, and swiped there paws more. "Don't you think about intruding! This is MINE!"

"Lucy theres no time!!" Susan gently grabbed her sisters hand and started farther down the tunnel, she turned to Peter, "Well your the oldest! lead the way!!"

the wolves growled in responce, "We've had enough of this..." one of the wolves lifed his paw to strike her but a young female wolf whos name was Alia stepped in front, "Wait! Don't! she exclaimed, franticly trying to think of an excuse, "This chipmunk is right...alls I heard was a baby bird also and you know I have a lot better hearing then any of you!" this had been proved to be true on many occations.

"She'll be fine, she's a smart mouse..." Peter soothed Lucy and Grace.

Mary Sue met the eyes of the wolf, they'd met on one of Mary Sue's many adventures. She didn't smile or make any agnolegement she knew her besides a small eye gesture. She growled. "That's right! Now get out of my house!"
