After Return of the King

She nodded.
" Yes I can," She said,
She pull out a lilly and put by his lips.
" Now Mr. Frodo please drink this," She told him.

Frodo-

Only hearing a loud ringing in his ears, Frodo could barely make out what this Elf was saying to him. Feeling the soft lilly pressed to his lips, he slowly let the healing nectar drip slowly into his mouth.

"The orcs are gone now. I hear the noise of an ent." Arla said coming out of the crack.

"Please let him be alright." Kasey said softly.

it had been a few hours so Bryan led them to where Frodo was.

"I'm here Frodo." Kasey said.

Frodo-

Frodo's face now overcame with joy, as Kasey came in. Tears mixed with hapiness and the past sadness now fell down his face uncontrolably.

"Oh, Kasey. I never thought I would see you again."

She now came closer and he wrapped her in a gentle hug, his tears falling upon her shoulders.

Merry-

Still fighting in the dephs of the forest Merry was determined now to leave none alive, not knowing yet the news of the well being of Frodo, he continued worrying as his sword glimmered in the dim forest light.

She giggled.
" I don't know but they won't hurt you no more," She said getting up.

Eastà ran over to Merry and grabbed his leg.

Frodo-

Feeling her soft and caring touch, Frodo felt completly at ease in her arms, feeling as if he wished to stay there forever. But something was wrong... a pain still did not cease in his shoulder. Realizing the arrow head was still within him, he stayed silent. He did not want to ruin this joyful moment, between him and her, or atleast for as long as he could keep quiet about it.

Merry-

Stumbling into his group of friends, Merry quickly slided his sword back into it's shealth. Feeling the girl's tiny hands wrap around his leg he smiled,

"I am glad to see you are safe, dear one."

He now looked up, turning to the others with a more serious look on his face,

"Where's Frodo? Is he alright?"

Kasey knew something was wrong and didn't want to tell her.

Arla ran over to Merry and gave him a big hug. "I'm glad you're safe." she said then she realized wat she did and backed away. "Sorry."

Merry-

Somehow this battle for his friends had somehow stirred his heart and mind to think differently. His suspisions about Arla had been completely erased from his thoughts and he now smiled,

"There is no need to apalogize, Arla. I am glad you are safe as well."

His smile brightened even more, gazing into her eyes a few moments until it was finally broken as he looked back down at the little girl by his feet,

"I bet your Mother is as well, dear Eastà. It would be such a terrible tragedy to lose you."

Frodo-

Frodo looked up at Kasey with a joyous sparkle in his eyes, there was silence a few minutes, when finally he asked,

"Are the others well? Did they escape from the Orc's?"

Without even thinking he put a hand to his shoulder as the infection grew steadily within him. Realizing what he had done, he quickly put his hand back down and slid it into hers.

"Yes they are all safe." Kasey said noticing what he did.

Arla blushed. Truth was she really like Merry.

Arla noticed Frodo out of the corner of her eye and said something in elvish.

Frodo-

Feeling something stir within his shoulder, Frodo felt the pain rush away as the infection stopped abruptly. Although Arla could heal and stop the pain, he would need someone to take out the sharp arrow of cold metal from his shoulder. Which indeed would be no easy task. But for now the pain had ceased and his heart and body could be in comfort. Still holding Kasey's hand, Frodo smiled,

"That is good."

Merry-

Merry now looked back up at Arla as a few more sparkling moments passed, almost as if soft music was playing in his mind. He smiled, also turning again shyly away. Somehow he began to feel also a great liking for her, but she was and Elf and he was a hobbit, in his mind he believed she did not feel the same way. Ecspiacally after he had treated her so unkindly.
