That's so exciting! I just saw the news on the front page! Yay for The Last Battle.... that's the one I'm waiting for. :D

Not fair. SC is going to be 2010 - the year I'm a junior. I'm going to have college crap to deal with. I guess no Jill audition for me. Well, I can still hope, can't I? Hm....

As much as i like Lewis's books, no, never, not a single second.

Rowling is a far, far, far, faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar efficient writer.

This is wonderful news! I was afraid they wern't going to do them all, but now that it's confirmed I'm totally excited! I will be simply splended to see a Narnia movie each year or two :)

I asked the question on the floor at Comic Con and Mark said that provided each film had the response that LWW did they would make all 7. They don't intend to skip any. I read later that it was also asked in the coming soon interviews, but on the floor I asked about the 4 remaining books/movies, the timetable, and if they all wanted to be involved in it all. They do want to be involved. They're planning on one a year every May till they're done. VDT will start filming late January or early February from what Mark said.
 
I am happy about the commitment of the producer to complete all 7 books. But I am not that optimistic that we will ever get past SC. Thou I love HHB, its Arab flavor make it very politically incorrect. And then with LB with an actual war between a Christian army and a non-Christian human army makes it an undoable subject for Disney. I do feel MN can be made.:)

Castel, you've been warned about saying the people who might disagree with you are idiots or whatnot, please be careful. I edited your post here. Also, perhaps what was meant by "efficient" in this case is that lewis' books were shorter and more to the point. JKR's books are long and it takes a lot of doing to get one stuffed down into a movie script, where Lewis left room for lots of stuff to be added in, according to the director's vision.

But they are not Christians or Muslims, they are Narnians and Calormenes. I am sure steps will be taken so that the themes are not offensive to Muslims (or Christians), and then it can certainly be done. Hooray!
