"7:30...Building B int eh lobby area." he smiled
“Ok kid, so you got the plan down?” asked the man as they approached the campus. This shouldn’t be hard. If everything goes as planned the van will be out back.” Leaning in closer to his face he growled, “And trust me you want everything to go right.” He grinned and patted the kid on the back. He slipped on his sun glasses and trailed him at a distance
Victor walked silently into the tiny on campus bank drawing no attention to himself at all. The other students went on with their conversation. he slowly walked up the farthest teller. When your good you can rob a bank full of people and no one will ever know. He could still here the sergeant’s voice as clear as day. He took a deep breath smiling at the young girl.
“Hello,” she responded smiling as well.
“Nothing fast and act like everything is ok and no one gets hurt.” Victor said in a hushed tone the barrel of his pistol peaking out from under his jacket.
“what are you doing?” she asked looking from him to the gun,“Please just leave,” she begged.
“Do as I say and trust me I will.” Victor said his face as cold as stone.
“I just…I just want to pay my way though…” she dropped the pen she had been fiddling with. She bent over and picked it up but didn’t touch the cash drowr.
“Listen, I don’t have all day and I want my money now.” He hissed. She didn’t move. “NOW!” His voice boomed louder than he had intended and the attention was on him now. A young man ,obviously on the football team, walked up to him.
“Hey man what’s the problem?” he asked. Victor’s hands got suddenly sweaty. He finger itched to pull the trigger but the sergeant had told him not to.
“I just want my change that’s all and this chick is taking forever.” He snapped shooting a glare her way. He was at the end of his rope and panic was starting to set in.
“Dude, Chill out. she will get the money, ok.” The guy said and was about to walk away when he paused. He looked at Victor again. He had spotted the gun. The kid was about to say something when shots rang out and sent the other students screaming in mass hysteria. Hugh darted though the door and grabbed Victor pulling him along as they darted out the other side towards the Café. Five minutes was all it took before police sirens could be heard. The two dashed across campus mixing with the students that ran for shelter. Hugh drug Victor into a building fallowing a young girl who was obviously running to hide. Grabbing a chair he stuck it under the handle of the library door and locked it. Turning around there were students standing, some too shocked to move, some crying, some bleeding, yet none of them realized just then that there stood the man who caused this. Pulling out his gun Hugh didn’t say anything to the shrieks that emanated out of some of the girls.
“Stay quit and do what I say and no one gets hurt.” Hugh stated calm as glass. A moment passed and all was well. The police got closer and closer. Suddenly a book hit Hugh and a young girl darted for the door. Regaining his composure Hugh aimed and shot. Screams filled the room but Hugh’s voice was louder than them, “I Said do what I say and you will live. I am not afraid to shoot you and now you see I am telling the truth.” Hugh opened his cell phone, “The kid failed we may have a hostage situation,” and then he hung up.
