Umm... let me think.... I believe that Apolo's innocent in response to the death of Elindil since he and IOWW tried to save Elindil, but she wouldn't let them. And I myself never heard that back stabbing was an illeagl move until this trial... I meself was stabbed in the back... I'll post more later...

*Skids in late*
If you need a Judge, I volunteer.
If not, I volunteer my free counsel to anyone.
I would like to point out that I am impartial, being not a Pirate, nor a Knight, nor a RAnger.

Have ye read the duel in question yet?

I have heard of it... I believe the claims are this:
Apolo Anton Ohno stabbed Elindil in the back in a fair duel
Apolo Anton Ohno refused aid the wounded persons.
And the defense claims thus:
Apolo Anton Ohno moderately wounded Elindil, ending the duel.
Apolo Anton Ohno escorted Elindil bask to her tent and bound her wounds.
Apolo Anton Ohno left in search of a more accomplished physician, and returned to see Elindil being killed by a Unicorn, possibly of the Council of the Beast.

Having reviewed the situation, I find that:
No one but Lions Mane can be blamed for the death of Lions Mane, so that case is closed.
Apolo Anton Ohno, while not guilty of murder, IS guilty of violating the rules of a fair duel. My suggested sentence is this: Apolo shall not be allowed to use his powers of teleportation for a month AND Apolo must cook for all: Knights, Pirates, Rangers, and Mandalorians for one month.
I ALSO find that the group that DID cause the death of Elindil should be embargoed and shall not be communicated with (I forget, was it the Dark Army or the Council of the Beasts that killed him? Whatever one it is, they get those terms)
Does the court agree?

I preside this trial, and I am the one who gives others the chance to speak.
***I suggest to all who would participate in this that they read pgs. 240-250 in the Rangers thread. You will learn everything you need to know about what Apolo did in dueling with Elindil.

Thankyou kind sir. I was wondering what our cook did wrong.
Now as for my ship mates and Elindil, can't we keep quiet? Though we are outside the gates, please maintain your anger, or take it elsewhere. These are sacred grounds we are trampling. *rolls eyes* pirates...pirates...

Elf of the Havens....what happens to Lions Mane? Is he banned from our groups since he died?

It would seem so... he commited the dishonorable act of what is called in the lands of the East, Hara-Kiri, and here, suicide.

No offence but....Are you a member of this court?

*The Lord High Steward of Narnia, the Wizard Saruman, stirred in his chair*

Alas, fair Elf of the Grey Havens, you have merely presented opinions to this Court that are for consideration. The judges shall cast their votes in due time after enough witnesses and evidence have been presented before them.

But where is the respondent? Where is the cook? I am eager to hear what he has to say in this matter.

That is all I ever intended to do, Sir Wizard.

I fear the judges have been appointed, and the trial has commenced. You are welcome to take the stand again at a later point, if it pleases you.

My lords, consider carefully the points presented by the Elf regarding Apolo's actions.

Will none of the judges ask questions?
