((Daniel will kill the little... ))
Daniel stood. The dirt stung his eyes, but he didn't mind. He fingered his knife in his pocket. "Idiot..." The kid tried to punch him. Daniel moved, and stabbed at the kid's hand with his knife. Daniel threw a punch at his stomach, followed by an uppercut.
As Daniel was beating up the other guy, suddenly Father Malloni came out.
"Daniel!" yelled the Father, going over to the poor bleeding boy as Daniel let go and the other guy fell to the ground, his hand bleeding.
"Father, he started it!" exclaimed Daniel.
"That gives you no right to stab him, Daniel. Violence begets violence, you know that. At least, I thought you knew."
Father Malloni shakes his head grimly at Daniel.
"You shall stay behind at night to clean the whole cathedral. Let you think of what you done."
Father Malloni takes the bleeding boy into the church in search of medical aid while the other guys who were watching the fight wandered off.
Daniel spitted and saw his knife on the ground, it must have gotten lose in the scuffle. There was blood on it.
(Will Daniel pick it up or leave it?)

Story: Mirror Minded
Maddy gazed at her reflection in her mirror.
She did not like it, because she was short, even if she angled the mirror.
Sighing, Maddy Gold turned it so the wood end faced her.
A few years ago she would not have cared what she looked like reflected in the mirror. In fact, she hardly noticed it had been in her room.
Her mum had bought it at a junk yard sale, Maddy did not know why, but her mum decided Maddy should have it in her room.
"To see how pretty you are," was what her mum had said.
'Yeah, right,' thought Maddy and sat at her desk, facing away from the overturned mirror.
Suddenly, Maddy heard a car horn outside her window. Her window faced the front of the house, so the car would be on the road outside directly.
(Shall Maddy go and see what the honking is about?)
