“yah, actually it was just my sister and I and a “body guard”.” He said rolling his eyes and motioning the quotations with his figures. “It was my senior get away present and Tianna wanted to see New York so I brought her with me.” He smiled at the memory now leaning on the railing.

"I am," Adina asked, "I hadn't noticed." She rubbed her arms to warm up, "its a little cold."

Adina shook her head, "not yet," she smiled a little, "I'd just study if I went home, I studied enough today."

Nick put his arm around her as the gently waves rocked the boat, “You know what my roommates would say to that…”collage is not all about studying it’s about finding the time to party.” He said a mock Ceagin voice.

Ceagin didn’t say anything. He looked up as they approached the huge statue. He didn’t remember her looking so daunting as she did that evening. He turned back to Kiera and Sarah and forced a smile, “SO what do you think of her up close?”

Occ do you two ever have a problem with getting a message while trying to post on here that says something like: Te server is too busy at this time. Please try back later.

ooc:Yeah, that's what happens when TDL fails. The mods are working on it though, so hope it gets fixed. But if you keep pressing the refresh button, the screen you want will come up sooner or later.;)

Sarah bit her bottom lip. She got a horrible feeling she shouldn't have said that. "Um...she's, even more beautiful than I imagined. Thank you for taking us here." Sarah tried to smile, but she felt horrible.

occ: ya it just is really frustrating when I suddenly cant post for however long out of the blue.

Ceagin stepped out onto the solid ground and looked up that the great lady. she was beautiful but he would never be able to look at her in the same way. "You two want to go inside?"

"Of course." Sarah walked next to Ceagin as they went inside. "We going to the top?"
 
Kiera looked up at the Statue of Liberty. She remembered seeing it on her way here from London for the first time, though she hadn't been this close. She was literally at loss for words, as they approached it. She suddenly looked away from it, as if it was a disturbing image, and instead, looked at her feet....

Nick couldn’t resist a smile, “I might agree with them now.” He looked over the lights of New York as they glistened on the water. He closed his eyes and kissed the top of her head. “thank you.” he whispered

ceagin turned around and saw Kiera's reaction, "Hey you ok?" he asked
 
Kiera looked up, and forced a smile. She had listened to Sarah and Ceagin's discussion, and she had a pretty good idea why he felt the way he did about family. Though she shoved the thoughts out of her mind. "Yeah. Just a little...nerve-wracking with heights. That's all..." she said. "But I'll live..."
