Heya people! Long time since I've been in the Dutch thread, but I'll need to come here once in a while to say hello, don't I? :D

Concerning the US and A (I love to say that :p) I'd like to visit it sometime. Just a few months ago I was thinking of moving there, but well, I found out I'm better of where I am right now. There are alot of problems in the US that I personally find distastefull, like lack of gun control, insurance stuff, and politics overall, but oh well, I still like the people and the nature (We don't have to pay for a health insurance over here :p) ... Nice seeing you folks again!

(PS. What about Norway Vanessa? :p)
. Doffen

Wow. You were.. Cheery. XD Whahaha.

NOOOOOOOO COMMENT.

We have to pay taxes here for our healthcare, and a bit by ourselves, but not even near to the sum that the americans have to pay

Hello Doffen, i don't think we met before, my name's Lieke, 16 years young and a Dutchy. Nice to meet you!

Vanessa, the Niagara falls, i'm definately going with you:D

Heya Lieke! My name is Torstein, 17 years old and I'm from Norway ;) We also have to pay taxes over here. Actually, we pay more in taxes then Americans spend on health insurances, but I feel that's better, because it helps the community, and not just yourself. We have currently no people in this country that has serious money problems (who does not choose it themselves.. There's actually some that does that) ... We pay about 2 Euros per liter (6 euros per gallon, if my calculations are correct) gas aswell. That also goes for the health insurance of others and to the community. ^^

Laura... New experience? ^^

Tsssss.............Lieke....you have been away from here too long Doffen posted here a while ago very often.
Yep, we have to pay premies every month. But we are happy to know we have an insurance.
Yeah! I am going to see the waterfalls. Because it is only one hour away from Toronto. It means we are finally going to experience a white Christmas again.
I have seen the name sometime, i just didn't know who . White Christmas, nice, we don't have that very often

Norway? cool! My parents really want to go there sometime (well, my father, my mother thinks it's a bit cold  ). Yeah, part of our taxes also go to the community, though i have heard that you in Norway have even more of a welfare state (government looking out for their people by taxes) than us here, and we have quite some things like benefits already.
But yes, it doesn help the community, so i don't think it's bad (though i do think there are some borders to it, but yeah:rolleyes: ).

Well, not sure if I would recommend comming over here or not. I think we have some nice nature and stuff, but if you want to buy something, don't consider the stuff over here cheap :p And yeah, actually, I think Norway was crowned as the best country in the world to live in some time back, but I'm not updated there, so ^^ Nice meeting you ;)

Had lots of stuff to do... second appointment at the dentist (which I survived, but I'm recovering as we speak) and wrapping up my work at therapy for one... I'm glad for the holidays now, cos I'll have more time to spend with you then. :)

Pfff, and being in love doesn't really help much. It's distracting! :p
