Welcome, Montogma. I did not see you post before. I agree, Viggo was an excellent Aragorn. When I first saw a photo of him, having been cast as Aragorn, I thought ... no, all wrong ... but then seeing him in the film, I was very impressed.

Funny thing, I voted Aragorn in this poll and I don't remember why. I finally realized I don't have a favorite character, because they are all wonderful characters. Although I do especially admire Treebeard.

I watched The Fellowship again yesterday,and discovered I actually liked Legolas better this time..still not my favorite character,but compared to my first impression..

Hmm, just watch him take on that enemies Snowy Yes I understand that will be not so fast that Legs will become your fave character, my fave first is Froda then Pippin then Eowyn. Did you see how Eowyn fought the Witch-king? Man she's great!

I voted for Merry. I think he's always an over-looked character.
His character is a lot better in the books, though I do like his part in getting the ents to act and, of course, helping kill the witch king.

merry is a fantastic charactor. i love how learned he is in the forest lore and such. and he is so brave
