Christine was sure she had had enough of this world, and she certainly didnt want anything to do with those she had just left. But she couldnt sit here forever. She got up and walked along the outskirts of the town passing farms. She walked towards the castle not planning on going too close.

ic: She just smiled at him and set about digging them up and putting them into her basket. When she looked up she could see a young lady walking past. "Do you think that young maden is lost?" She asked worriedly.
 
She hugged him, and then sighed with relief. "I thought I was alone. You dont know how glad I am to see you." She said almost in tears.
 
"yah same here," he said looking at her face, "I can't belieave you are here," he sighed in reliefe, "I'm sorry I'm getting your cloths all dirty," he said letting her go
 
Beatrix watched this exchange. She was shocked by the way they embrased. She walked over to them. "Are you wedded?" She exsclamed.
 
Betrix looked worred and wisperd "I knew there was something diffrent about you. I need to tell you that if anyone else saw you two embrace then you could be put into jail. It is not appropriate behaviour for a non married pair"
 
At this Christine laughed too. "Yeah." She said agreeing with him. "So have you seen the others?" She asked him.
 
"No I haven't he said looking around, "I haven't set foot of this place...diging potatps," he said lifting up his hands to show her how dirty they were.

He turned to her and frowned, "What is wrong with hugging a good frined?"
 
Christine looked back at her. "I already got into trouble once today, I dont want to again." She said quietly so the woman couldnt hear.
 
"Men and woman are not aloud to touch. Even us being alone in a feild may be seen as a wrong doing. If they are alone they have to be courted and... and..." She was amazed that they did not know this.
 
Paul looked at her but didn't ask quetions he would ask her later, "So I can't..." he was trying to wrap his mind around it, "I'm not doing anything with her or to her for that matter so what is the problem?"
 
"It's just not done. It's the way we have been brought up" She was not confused. Personally she coulden't see the problem. You hug your perents.
 
Christine looked back and forth from the girl to Paul. "Make up an excuse." She whispered to Paul, apparently she was bad at that.
 
"We are not wedd..." he said looking towads the girl, "we are sorry that we were so obviouse with our affection." he asid wracking his brain for soemthing, " but she is wed to my brother." he spat out thinking this would obsolve both of them
 
"Thanks." She said to the girl smiling. She liked this girl. She was much different than the ones she had met already.
