Everybody keep your eyes open for an Intro post from a new member calling herself Karoliina Aleksandra. The double I's in the first name are deliberate, not a typo. Vowel-doubling is commonplace in...a certain... European language. ;)
 
Hello, Highdruid_Cairns, Honza, and celestialhost. Welcome to TDL. I like to think I am part of the greeting committee but of late I have been rather inactive. I am Lava. Yes, watch the Badger; he is rather amazing or amusing or both at the same time. Dufferland is the place where most of us call home. Come on down and join the fun.
 
Greetings, goodly ladies and gentlemen of this court. I am Jubal Barca, Megadux Exilianis, polymath, atheist, leftwinger, history nerd, lover of folk music and mythology, and general oddball.

As for Narnia and I: I've read most of the books many times, and am a great lover of (and a much less great but hopefully improving amateur writer of) fantasy literature in general. I'm also currently modifying/reprogramming the popular "Rome: Total War" computer game to use a Narnian setting, which is proving a very fun (and actually philosophically interesting) project indeed.

So... that be me. At thy service.

I consider myself a middle-of-the-road-winger, personally.
 
Yeah - I shall have to try and force myself to not get into debating too much, given I have my own webforum to run and programming to do and exams to revise for and writing to finish and aaaaargh...

But I'll probably pop up and do some debating on occasion anyway. :p
