Introduction Thread II

My own suggestion is to read the major works of Narnian fan fiction, including Evening Star's "Swept Away," to which your humble servant contributed some ideas.

I already posted in the Gone, Away & Returned thread but I guess I could write something here too...I joined this site in 2006 :)eek:) and was very active but left and never came back, until now. My name's Frida, I'm 19 years old (turning 20 in a few months) and I'm a huge fan of the first film mainly. I have only seen the other 2 maybe once or so but plan to watch them again soon as I don't remember much of them xD My favourite characters are Aslan and Lucy :)

Welcome back Daughter of Eve! I hope you don't find the forum too different from back then. I also hope you're here to stay this time. We'd love to make your acquaintance. Aslan and Lucy are perfect for favorite characters! I love them too!

Flying Tackle Hugs DOE. YAY, you are back. We missed you.

Welcome, Eowyn Pevensie. Welcome to our boards.

Thanks guys! I'm glad there are some people about who still remember me...most of the members from ages ago seem to have left now :( But I'd love to get to know some new people as well :)

I've only been back on here for a little while but from what I can tell, it's pretty much the same as it used to be...except perhaps a little less active. Don't know if that's a bad or good thing seeing as I distinctly recall having to go though 10 pages of new posts or more whenever I had been away for a day or two :D It got a little bit too much at times!

Hey,
Greetings to all of you.

I'm quite happy that I've discovered this forum because it seems to me if you talk about Narnia many people only say: "You like THAT book? I have only read the first two chapters, but those christian elements..."

Well, about me...I'm a student from Vienna. I've read Narnia some time ago and like it very much.

I also read a lot of other fantasy. I like Tolkien's books (as you might guess from the second part of my user-name) and those of G.R.R. Martin and also some of the other things C.S.Lewis has written etc. etc.

Welcome to TDL!! I can't wait to see your posts.

Welcome Lucy-Elwing. Austria is cool. My brother spent a semester in Gaming while he was in college and loved it there.

Narnia fans are always welcomed! And I'm sure you'll find this forum a wonderful place for Narnia, Christianity, and many other areas of interest. :)
