Introduction Thread II

Really?! I thought that my English was terrible... I study English from one year, so for me to write a message is very difficult, also when it's very short!
What language do you speak? Spanish or English?

Well, you've got to work on your grammar a little bit, but I never heard (read in this case) anyone saying he/she didn't speak english well with the vocabulary knowledge you show to have.

And I speak both. I've been learning english for about 7 years or so now, and spanish for, I think 4 years, and that was just school. But my native english is portuguese. I also speak Brasil-Portuguese but, that's irrelevant, lol. And a little bit of french, very little.

Hello all!

I just signed up yesterday, so this is my first time posting here. I came from another forum that played a lot of forum games. Do you guys play forum games here? It doesn't matter that much if you don't, I just would kind of like to know a little about what's popular to do on this forum. Thanks, and I'll talk to you later!

Eustace: If you scroll down the starting page, most of the way down, you will find the "Dawn Treader" section, where text-based gaming has been done. All such are supposed to be Narnian-based. The most recent roleplay, started by the member who calls herself Lava, is titled "With Swords, Claws and Teeth Bared." It is supposed to depict what other Narnian characters (original ones of ours) might have been doing AT THE SAME TIME as the events of "Lion/Witch/Wardrobe" were happening.

The most active characters in this roleplay were a Talking Newfoundland Hound, a Talking Bluejay, a Talking Bobcat, some Talking Kittens, a Minotaur, and a cowardly Satyr (one who makes Tumnus the Faun look like Chuck Norris). Some of also stepped in at points to play needed actions by the ORIGINAL characters. At the time we left off, Peter was beginning to fight Maugrim.

Thanks, Copperfox. :) Hello everyone, I'm Rainshadow, but you can call me Rain. Like Eustace C. Scrubb, I joined yesterday and this is my first time posting.
So, here's a little bit about me:

I love reading and writing.
I like jokes and tend to tease others (please don't take my teasing seriously, it's not meant to be rude. I'll try not to tease, though!)
I'm a big fan of the Redwall series, as well as Warriors, the Inheritance Cycle, Narnia, and Lord of the Rings.
Cats and owls are among my favorite animals, along with horses, dragons and wolves.

Well, now you know a little about me, and I'm looking forward to getting to know you guys as well!

Thanks for your time --

Hello, and welcome! Nice to see new faces. In addition to what Copperfox said, there is also Dufferland where traditional forum games like the "Corrupt a wish game" "The person below me" "the last post game" and others reside. It's one of the most active sections on the forum and a good place to meet fun people. However, Dufferland posts don't count to your overall post count so they won't help you get out of fresh bread status. ;)

Thanks, Copperfox. :) Hello everyone, I'm Rainshadow, but you can call me Rain. Like Eustace C. Scrubb, I joined yesterday and this is my first time posting.

Hi, Rain, we've already met in Dufferland. Very nice to meet you. For your sake I shan't eat the cookies provided by Lava...

Oh my God, I used to read Redwall all the time when I was younger!
Those were the best. :D

Welcome Rainshadow!
My family went to hear Brian Jacques speak years ago in Ottakar's book shop in Salisbury, and he had a great sense of humor too. Here's one of the jokes he told:
Q: What do you call a cow with no legs?
A: Ground beef.
