Introduction Thread II

Notice To Newcomers:

There is a Narnian text-based roleplay on this forum, which is in a good position to accept NEW players. Created by member "Lava," it is called "With Swords, Claws and Teeth Bared."

The idea of it is to look at how "native" Narnian characters might have been managing to survive in the Jadis era, and how they find themselves fighting for -- or against -- Aslan as the Pevensies appear. It was speculated, for instance, that some Narnians would have built greenhouses, to enable them to grow food when the magic winter was preventing Narnia from having a growing season.

The plotline has just gotten past the moment in the book when Peter killed the captain of the evil wolves. It would be easy enough right now for a new player to become a Centaur, Faun, Talking Horse, etc., who is among the faithful Narnians rallying to Aslan.

In the roleplay section, look for the thread where you suggest a character for yourself. It has to be a newly-invented character.

And no sexy vampires.

Hallo, I'm Ren and I'm 21. I hope I'm not too old to be here, but I love Narnia and Lewis of course :D

My favorite character is Peter, because of his strong behavior >.< and Aslan <3<3 I always hope to find him somewhere, when I walk in the little forest near my grandma's house!
 
Ren, if _you're_ too old for the forum, I'm _really_ in trouble, since my SIXTY-first birthday is not far off! And I also like the character of Peter -- because classical _manliness_ in boys and men is exactly what our era needs more of, not less of.
 
And we're looking for members of ANY age to join a text-based roleplay now in progress. Based on "Lion/Witch/Wardrobe," it allows us to imagine Narnian beings NOT NAMED in the book, who could reasonably have been present during the book's events. Sort of a bunch of Narnian Forrest Gumps. The young lady who calls herself ~Lava~ created the roleplay. My own characters in the roleplay include a brave Talking Bluejay named Flakefeather, and a "not so brave as Sir Lancelot" Satyr named Exeter.

Copperfox, the idea of a role-play game sounds really good! Living in Narnia is one of my biggest dreams!

Hey Aslan, welcome to the forums. I think about ten posts. I recommend not posting on the duffer forum, it wont get you any post count. I hope you have fun here!
