Introduction Thread II

Okay. If we feel the need to use a nickname of your username, we'll call you "Paradoxical Combination of Water in the Solid State of Matter, with the Process of Semi-Rapid Oxidation." That's for when we're in a casual mood.

What about for when we're in a formal mood and want to show how erudite we are? :D

Well, we could show erudition with foreign languages. Rusty though I am by now in Russian, I believe I would be correct in translating "Icefire" as "Ledovoy Ogon."

Hello!
My name is Icefire and I'm friends with Eustace C. Scrubb and Rainshadow (I hope they don't mind me claiming that!:D)
I've been a fan of the Chronicles of Narnia for at least 13 years now. My favorite book is The Last Battle followed by The Horse and His Boy and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.
I'm a total bookworm and firmly believe that the book is always better than the movie....I will try to avoid yelling about that! :D
Most importantly, I am a Christian. I love seeing all the Christian influences on this site that can be found with just a brief viewing.
I think that's all you need to know about me right at the moment. You'll learn more about me quickly I'm sure! *slightly evil laugh* Please have patience as I figure out how this forum works. :)

Hi, I'm Annemarie, it's nice to meet you! I hope you like the forums and don't mind our craziness.

Thank you, Annemarie! No worries about the craziness. I was one of the first hundred members on the Official Redwall Forum. I have both started and encouraged many forms of crazy. :D

Hi there from Sydney.

G'day! I'm Rayfo and I have loved Narnia ever since my dad read the stories aloud to me and my siblings when we were tiny. Hope to get to know you, and especially to meet anyone who has read the recent book by Michael Ward 'The Narnia Code'. It's really not as weird as it sounds :) See you around!

I'll hope to find that book eventually; thanks for mentioning it.

Speaking of literature: once you have gained enough seniority to be allowed to create your own topic threads (and this seniority is gained simply by continuing to participate in the forum), I hope you will try your hand at writing stories or poems in our creative-writing section. There are VERY FEW authors contributing anything there at present, and we can use new talent.

Welcome Rayfo!! I haven't read that book yet, but it sounds interesting! If you are into forum games, the Land of the Duffers is a really fun place. :D Hope to see you around!
