I'll see you all in aweek, i'm off to the Coast Guard Academy for a week!

Well I must say. IT WAS EPIC.
It was a really intense experience to say the least.

and Tesse, I just saw your signature.
you... like... country? could this be?

I have a friend who was born in the ROI, although his Mum's English, and he has part of an Irish accent, though not fully. I think I'm 1/16 Irish, though I'm not sure whether it's NI or ROI, and I only overheard my Nana saying her Grandad was Irish.

hi guys! I missed ya'll. I have just been so busy!

so at a recent youth conference I was at a few weeks ago in the LA area, our speakers were Irish! they were a couple in their late 20s and they were so entertaining and amazing! and we kinda picked up on their accents, haha saying "oh yes, I'm a wee bit tired" and my friend Zack liked to tease me by saying I was "wee little lady" since I'm not quite 5'4 and he's over 6' ;)

and... they taught us some Irish phrases!!! haha "you're sucking diesel" means you're doing awesome or something like that..."flip me" means You're Kidding! or No Way! and there were a few others but I can't really recall them to mind at this moment. but they were quite unusual for the American society haha.

Hahahahah :D Oh, I've missed you guys ...

I use British phrases more often, to tell you the truth ... probably because I know more of them ...

I've used more of a southern drawl than anything. and not on purpose or out of mockery. I hate when people mock the south. haha.
