OMG I haven't been on in like .... A WEEK!!!! :eek:
That's a long time for me!

My computer got a virus and I can't get online anymore :( So I can't go on TDL and can't talk to you guys and feel really awful about it ... right now I'm on the computer at the library :p.

*Deep breath*

I'm taking a food and culture class in summer school and we each get to choose a culture to do a project on.

Let's all guess what I chose. :rolleyes::cool:

But anyway,s does anyone know any semi-simple irish foods I could make for the class?
 
Tesse!! You should visit the library more often, we all missed you.

To be really honest, I have no idea of a specific Irish food.
How bout Irish oatmeal and Irish bacon? That's all I know.

I'm not irish, but I'm catholic and french celtic woman. For me catholic is more important but celtic is important too. In my family many people have red hair. We belong to a race of very little people living on moutains. My landscape seems more like scottich moutains but we are celtic like irish people.

I've seen the film "The Wind that Shakes the Barley" from Ken Loach. I like this part of Ireland.

What you described, and after trying to picture it in my head, it seems like an awesome place. If it is anything like the scenery in the "Wind that Shakes the Barley" then yes it is a lovely place.

Me and Irish music. Can't live without it.

If anyone is ever bored look up Sephira. Classical very beautiful music by sisters Ruth and Joyce O' Leary. Ruth is commonly on Violin while Joyce provides vocals. Both have gorgeous voices though.
 
I don't know the exact % but we have irish on both sides of my family. I guess my dad having grandparents by the names of Doublin and Roby was a big clue :p and the Moore's on mom's side.
I would love to visit there. The Admiral will have to humor me with a trip when I go to visit him and Ephinie after she moves away lol
