i"ve already typed /written alot out! :d here it is:

i sat on my bed and stared down at my cell phone. 2005-115-2469. The mysterious number glowed on the screen. I had been receiving calls from this strange number for over a month, but i had never had the courage to call it back. The only message i had was a text that simply said: Please call during the lunar eclipse. That was it. No name. Nothing. Only that simple request. And tonight was the lunar eclipse.
I looked out through my window at the night sky, at the silvery disk that was partially covered. I glanced back down at my phone fifty minutes until the eclipse. The time surprisingly went by quickly. I went and got me a dr. Pepper from the kitchen downstairs. Then went outside on the roof of my two-story house that i shared with my best friend amber ________. I drank the dr. Pepper and set the empty can beside of me. I looked up at the sparkling stars in the night sky. I smiled as a memory came into my head. My very first boy friends last name had been starkey, and the times we had said something about seeing the same stars flashed in my mind. He was gone now though. I hadn't spoken to him since he had gotten his number changed because he switched phone services because of bad reception. That was the only boy i had ever loved and he wasn't the only boy i had dated. Finally it was one minute until total lunar eclipse. When the count down on my phone flashed zero i found the familiar number, pressed send, held the phone to my ear, and waited…. No ring, not even a tone. Suddenly a voice spoke, voicemail…."hey, candi, this is daniel. I am not able to answer because of the eclipse. Leave a message if you want. Bye…" a few seconds later i hear a beep. And though i don't know why i left this message: "hey…daniel. This is candi, i was calling…well to see who you are really. Call me back when you can. Bye." i pushed end, hanging up. "what did i just do? Who is daniel? And where does he live?" i spoke out loud to my self. I waited until midnight to receive the call, but i didn't. So after turning the volume on my phone completely off, i lay down and went to sleep.

******************************
"so you called the number?" my best friend and roommate amber asked me the next day as we carried our trays of food towards a table in the packed malls food court. We had been in and out of stores all day searching for amber's niece a birthday present- but the child's birthday was in a month but amber wanted to make sure she got it in time. And now at 12:00 we stopped to eat lunch at the food court.
"yes, and i got a voicemail speaking directly to me." i set my tray of chinese food down on a table with four chairs around it and sat down in a chair.
Amber took the chair across from me. "do you see jared?" she asked searching the area for her boyfriend who was supposed to meet us here.
"uh, yeah. He's coming this way." i motioned towards the black haired boy heading straight for our table.
"so who was it?" amber asked as jared sat down in the chair next to her.
"who? Candi's mystery called?" jared looked at me then at amber.
"yes. His name is daniel. That's all i know." we prayed over out food. I forked some of the sweet chicken into my mouth, chewed and swallowed. "he sounded nice."
"a lot of guys sound nice" amber pointed out. "did he ever call you back?" amber asked taking a bite out of her own food.
I shook my head." no. I waited until midnight."
"have you checked this morning?" jared asked before shoveling his own food into his mouth.
"no." i retrieved my cell phone out of my pocked book. I had one missed call, i viewed it…it was from daniel. "he called!" i felt excitement swelling up inside me.
"when?" amber asked, leaning across the table.
"at twelve fifteen last night." i moaned." i missed it."
"he'll call back." jared said knowingly.
"how do you know?" amber looked at her boyfriend.
Jared shrugged. "it's simple." he put a piece of chicken in his mouth, chewed and swallowed. "the guy has been calling you for two months. And you never answered. You finally call him back and when he returns your call you're a sleep. He'll call back. I know guys trust me." jared sat back in his chair.
"are you hoping he does?" amber looked at me. "you are a guy." she said to jared.
I shrugged." i don't know." i sipped my dr. Pepper through a straw.
Amber smiled at me. She knew i did. "yeah."
"it's a good thing too, because if i wasn't a guy i wouldn't be dating you." jared smiled at his girl friend.
I smiled at the two they had been dating for almost a year now, but had known each other much longer.
We finished our food, threw away the trash, and continued shopping. We finally found a __________ that amber thought ________ would like and i agreed.........

this is the daniel dream!!!

Here's more of the Daniel Dream.....

Later that night I sat on my bed watching TV when my phone rang. I picked it up from where it sat beside of me, my heart started beating faster, it was a text message from Daniel. I opened it. Several pictures of a boy with black hair and blue eyes flashed on the screen…weird… then I saw the text: Can I call you?
I bit my lower lip. I quickly replied. Yes. A few minutes later the familiar number appeared on the screen as my phone rang. I pressed send and held the phone to my ear. "Hello?" I felt butterflies in my stomach.
"Hello." Daniel spoke. "I guess you're wondering who I am and how I got your number."
"Umm, yeah." I pushed back my hair that had gotten in my face and turned off the TV with the remote.
"My name is Daniel Alikakos, and I live in a space station. My dad is a scientist." He sounded nervous. "I got a hold of your number when my dad and I came down about three months ago, to visit my aunt Alice. I saw your number on my aunts refrigerator."
I didn't say anything for a few moments. "You live in space?" I asked finally.
"Yep."
"How…umm are you talking to me?" I was confused.
"Cell phone. My dad invented ones that we could use." Daniel replied." That's why my number is so weird."
"Oh. Why do you want to talk to me?" I looked out my window at the sky.
"Because, you're really pretty and from what my aunt says a very nice girl." Daniel named the reasons.
"You know what I look like?" I couldn't help smiling.
"Yes. I saw you sitting on your roof."
"Are you sure that wasn't my roommate?" I had hardly ever had a guy tell me I was pretty.
"Yes. I'd like to see you again." Daniel spoke so low I barely heard him.
"Well, when do you come down next?" I drew invisible circles on my comforter.
"Next week." He sighed. "I'd come tomorrow if I could."
"You would?" I bit my bottom lip, I was beginning to like this guy.
"Yes, but I can't so I'm not." The young man sounded sad.
"I'd like to meet you." I pulled my legs against my chest. I think.
"You would?" Daniel sounded shocked.
"Sure. If a guy tries for two months to call me even when I never answered-because I was unable to- I think he's worth a try." I could barely believe I had just said that. But it was true.
"You are single right? A lot can happen in three months."
I smiled. "Yes. I haven't had a boyfriend in…a while."
"Ok. Just checking. I don't want to…um, invade some ones property." He then added. "Not that I don't think you're worth it."
I laughed. "No, I'm single. How old are you?"
"Twenty. Same as you." How much did this guy know about me?
"So Alice is your aunt?" I asked Alice Alikakos was my neighbor, a lady who lived alone across the street in a blue two-story house. I would sometimes water her flowers and feed her dog when she was away and sometimes I would just go and visit her when I got lonely.
"Yep. She's my dad's sister."
"Do you not have any siblings?" I asked him.
"No. My mom died a month before we moved up here. I was three when that happened. And my dad hasn't remarried."
"I'm sorry, Daniel." Living without a mom for sixteen years of your life the poor guy.
"It's OK." He was silent for a few moments. "I barely remember her."
We continued to talk until one in the morning when I finally decided to go to bed.
*********************************
"You talked to him!?" Amber exclaimed the next day as we sat on her bed in her bedroom.
I nodded. I popped some of the M&Ms, from the big bag in my lap, into my mouth. "Until one in the morning."
"Where does he live?" Amber asked reaching for the bag of candy.
I handed it over to her. "Um…. outer space." I blushed slightly.
Amber stopped with her hand halfway to her mouth. "Are you saying an alien likes you?"
I laughed. "No. He lives in a space station. His dad is a scientist."
"Oh. That's… weird." Amber poured the handful of M&M's into her mouth.
"Yeah. His dad invented their cell phones." I jumped as my cell phone started to ring. I fished it out of my pocket, it was a text messaged. I opened it…it was from Daniel. I smiled as I read it: Good day beautiful. How are you?
"What?" Amber grabbed at my phone. She too smiled. "Aww."
"Be quite." I told her. I replied to Daniel: I'm good. How are you?
"This is weird." Amber repeated shaking her head.
"I know. And he's coming down here next week." I leaned back on my elbows.
"He is!" Amber almost fell off the bed.
I nodded." Yep. He said he would've come down today but he couldn’t."
"He really likes you." Amber looked over at me. "And you like him back."
" I think I do. I know I shouldn't after talking to him only once." I glanced at the phone as it rang again. I opened Daniels reply…I'm ok. Wishing I could see you.
I replied that I could send him a picture of me, than set the phone beside of me. "He wants to see me." I showed my friend the message.
"That is so cute." Amber sighed. "I envy you." She teased.
"Jared doesn't say things like that?" I teased her back.
"Sometimes. But very rarely." Amber shrugged. She slid over next to me as my phone rang again.
I opened the message…SEND IT! PLEASE!!!
Amber laughed. "Let me take the picture." She reached for my phone, took a picture of me, and I sent it to Daniel with the words: I want one of you. We waited for him to send a reply. When he did I opened it and Amber really did fall off the bed
"That is, Daniel?" She crawled back on the bed and looked at the screen.
"Yes. I think so." I nodded. The picture showed a very good looking boy with black hair and screaming blue eyes. The background was what looked like a blue bed comforter he was obviously laying down. His text simply said: You're gorgeous.
I Replied: Thanks you're pretty hott yourself. I've got to go call me later. I sent the message.
"He is…"Amber stopped mid-sentence and glanced at me.
"Hott? Yes, I know." I smiled at her. "You have your own, so don't even think about it."
"Don't worry I'm not." Amber promised. "What do you think it'll be like to meet him?"
I sat back against the headboard and stared thoughtfully up at the ceiling. "I don't know. Awkward for a time probably."
"Do I need to be here?" Amber asked. "I will make sure I am several feet away.”
"No! That would make it even more awkward." I smiled at her. "But thanks."
"Can I talk to him tonight if I'm home when he calls?" Amber stood up from the bed and moved over to her dressed.
"Why?" I asked teasingly.
Amber glanced at herself in the mirror. "Because, as your roommate and sister, I need to approve of this guy. Though I do approve of his looks." She looked at me.
I laughed. "All right." Though Amber and me weren't blood related we counted each other as sisters.
"Yay." Amber clapped her hands. "I'm sure I'll approve. If the guy likes you enough to call you from outer space-and keep on calling until you call back- he's got to be something." She leaned against the dresser.
I slid to the edge of the bed letting my legs hand over the side. "I always get the guys I can never see." I pointed out.
Amber nodded in agreement. "Yes, you do." She said with a laugh. "When did you tell him to call?"
"I didn't. I just said I'd talk to him later." I said. I looked down at my cell phone. "Should I text him back"
"No." Amber replied. "You can help me decide what I’m gonna wear for my date tonight though." She turned and opened her closet doors.
I laughed." Ok. Where are you going?" I stood up and joined her at the closet.
"Movie." Amber cocked her head to one side and looked thoughtfully at her clothes. "So romantic I know."
"What does Jared like you in?" I asked as I looked at the variety of jeans, skirts, and tops.
"Blue." Amber replied knowingly.
I found a pair of jeans, and a cute blue top and set them on the bed then I added a few blue bangles to the set. "A blue out fit." I said proudly.

Here's more of the Daniel Dream [the rest of what I have typed out]:

Amber laughed. "That was fast." She glanced at the clock: 4:30. "Jared'll be here at 6:00. I’m gonna take a shower."
"OK." I looked again at the outfit. It's good. I decided. As Amber went to shower I headed down stairs to the kitchen to decide what I was going to eat for supper. I opened the refrigerator and looked inside. There were leftovers from Chili's, hotdogs, salad dressing-but no lettuce-, and Kraft cheese. I need to go to the grocery store. I thought. I decided on a grilled cheese sandwich. I heard my phone ringing I pulled it out of my pocket. I smiled when I realized it was a text message from Daniel. I opened it and read: Is it later yet? He was impatient I replied No, not yet. Call around…6:30. I received his reply thirty seconds later. That long?  OK. To which I said: I'm sorry.  I'll talk to you then.
I then made my way back upstairs where Amber was just coming out of the bathroom with her hair wrapped up in a towel. "He texted me." I told her.
She laughed. "Poor guy." She headed towards her bedroom.
I turned and headed into my own bedroom. I retrieved my journal and a pen and climbed out my window to sit on the roof. I opened the journal up to the last entry dating back to June 15 just two weeks ago. I always meant to write in my journal at least once a week but sometimes I was too tired or just forgot. I reread the entry.
I received another call from the strange number again last night this time at 3:00 A.M. I'm still wondering about if I should call it back. I know Amber wants me to. I don’t know if I should though. It’s been almost two months since I started getting the calls… I have to get ready for work now. Candi Michelle.
A lot had happened in two weeks. And I wrote it all down. All about how I had called Daniel, then missed his return call, I wrote about shopping with Amber, and Jared, and about my first conversation with Daniel, as well as his texts today. I closed the entry writing: I’m excited yet nervous about his call and meeting him. I pray that I can get through it. I signed my name and closed the book. I held the book against me and looked up at the sky. Somewhere out there Daniel was in a space station surrounded by darkness and the stars.
The time passed, I said bye to Amber, fixed then ate my grilled cheese sandwich, then I climbed the stairs to my bedroom sat down on my bed and turned on the TV. I glanced at the clock on my wall. It was already 6:45 and Daniel hadn’t called. The clock read seven O’clock when my phone rang. I quickly picked it up, pressed send and held it to my ear. “Hello?”
“Hey.” Daniels voice did something to my heart that surprised me. “I’m sorry it took so long. My dad wouldn’t let me leave. I was about to take my phone out and call you anyway, but then he said I could go.”
“I was beginning to think you weren’t gonna call.” I teased him
“I was gonna call, no matter what.” Daniel promised.” How are you?”
“I’m good. Alone at home, but good." I stretched out on my bed.
“I’d be there, but I can’t.” Daniel sounded apologetic.
“It’s ok. What day are you coming down here?” I asked. I stood up and went over to where my calendar was hanging on the wall.
“Tuesday.” Daniel replied. I heard a swooshing sound..
“Ok. I have to work until four. But after that is good.” I studied the dates.
“I’ll visit my aunt until you get home. What time do you want me to come?”
“Um, is seven good?” I asked.
“Yeah.” Daniel said. “Will your room mate be there?”
“No. She’ll probably have a date. “ I turned back around and sat on my bed. “She wants to talk to you when she gets home.”
Daniel laughed. I felt my heart beat faster. “All right. Thanks for the warning.”
“Were you being impatient this afternoon?” I asked him.
“Yes, I’m sorry. I just…want to make sure I’m not dreaming and that you really are talking to me.” Daniel admitted.
I smiled. “It’s ok. I’ll do that sometimes too. I annoy people. “ I laid back against my pillows.
“You could never do that to me.” He said. “I’m sure you don’t annoy them.”
“I don’t know. I feel like I do.” I Confessed.
“Well don’t think that.” Daniel told me.” If you don’t stop you won’t believe it when they tell you you don’t.”
“Ok.” I squeaked. “What have you done today?” I suddenly asked.
“Listen to my dad teach, schoolwork my dad has me do, and wish I could see you.” He said.
“Do you really want to see me that bad?” I bit my bottom lip, this guy really liked me-a lot.
“Yes, I do. I’ve waited three months to see you.” Daniel proclaimed.
“Why do you like me?” I asked then quickly added so he wouldn’t think I didn’t like him back. “I really don’t think I’m worth all you’ve done.”
“Because…” He stopped. After a minute of silence I thought he had hung up. But then he spoke. “Because, you have to be really nice and generous to help and visit an lonely widow like my aunt, and to even talk to a guy who lives in space, who you’ve never met, and you’re really pretty.”
It was then my turn to be silent for a minute. I had never thought I was as great or as pretty as he made me sound. “Daniel.” I didn’t know what to say.
“You don’t like me do you? I’m sorry, I’ll go.” He sounded so pathetic.
“No!” I almost shouted. I do like you. I just have trouble speaking my feelings a lot of times. And you made me sound like I was better than I really am.”
“Oh.” Daniels voice changed back to normal. “I think you just haven’t realized how good you are.”
I smiled. “Did you say your aunt was a widow?” I asked.
If the change of subjects bothered him he didn’t show it. “Yes.”
“But her last name is still Alikakos.” I was confused.
“She was engaged to be married a few years before I was born, and a month before her wedding her fiance’ was killed in a car accident.” Daniel explained.
“Oh how awful.” I then realized how little I knew about my neighbor.
“yes, and like my dad she has never remarried.”
I looked up as I hear a knock on my door. Amber stood in the doorway. I motioned for her to come in. “Amber just stepped in my room.” I smiled at my roommate.
“Great.” Daniel exclaimed.
“Daniel?” Amber asked sitting down beside me on the bed.
I nodded.” Want to talk to him?” When she nodded I said to Daniel. “She wants to talk to you.”
“OK.” Daniel sighed.
“Hold on.” I handed my phone to my friend.
“Hello.” Amber put him on speaker. “Is this Daniel?”
“Yes, this is.” I hear Daniel say.
“And why do you like my friend?” Amber was trying not to laugh.
Daniel named the reasons he had listed for me but added.” And she’s probably the only person who would talk to me.”
Amber looked at me and mouthed, ‘awww’ she then said to Daniel. “I guess that’s good enough.” She then took the phone and rushed towards her room.
“Get back here, Amber!” I ran after her. She closed and locked her bedroom door before I could get to it. “Amber! That’s not fare.” I yelled. I waited at least ten minutes at her doorway before she opened the door, handed me the phone and said, “He passed”, and closed the door back.
I stood there a moment before holding the phone to my ear. “Daniel?” I asked.
“Yeah?” Daniel spoke.
“What did she say?” I entered my bedroom.
“I can’t tell you.” Daniel said.
“Please?” I pleaded.
”I’m sorry she made me promise not to tell you.” Daniel sounded ________.
I sighed. “OK. Can I ask you a different question?” I opened my window.
“Sure.”
“Are you gonna ask me out?” I again couldn’t believe I had asked that.
“No.” Daniel said without thinking. “But not because I don’t want to. That would be rushing you, you only started talking to me yesterday, and I don’t want you to feel like I’m pushing. Did you want me to?”
I hesitated. “Honestly, no. I like your tactic. You wait until you really get to know the other person before you decide if you truly like them.” I was trying to tell him I wanted to get to know him better.
“I wouldn’t want someone to do that to me, so I won’t do it to anyone else. I tend to not do things that I don’t want done to me.” Daniel was letting me have what I wanted.
“That’s good.” I climbed out onto the roof. “ I usually do the things that make people think I’m weird, I don’t do it on purpose. But towards people I try to do the things I think they would want me to do to, or form them.”
“Ow!.” He suddenly yelled.
“What happened?” I asked.
“I shut my finger in my drawer.” He hissed in pain.
I’m sorry.” I said ***_________.
“Thanks, I’ll be fine.” Daniel assured me.
“Can you tell me what Amber said now?” I asked.
“No.” Daniel replied. “She made me promise.”
“Will you ever tell me?” I asked him sweetly.
“Maaayyybbbeeee.” Daniel drug out the word.

HEre's a little bit more of the Daniel Dream:

I scoffed. “Fine, goodbye.”
“NO!” Daniel yelled. “Please, don’t hang up on me.” He pleaded. I didn’t say anything for a moment. “Candi?”
I smiled. “I’m here, Daniel. I won’t hang up on you.” I promised. My phone beeped. “Hold on.” I lowered the phone from my ear and looked at the screen. My friend Conrad was calling me, pressing the phone back to my ear I said to Daniel. “Can I call you back in a minute? My friend is trying to call me.”
“Sure.”
We said goodbye and I pressed send to receive Conrad’s call. “Hey.” I said into the speaker.
“Hey. What’s up?” Conrad asked.
“I was talking to Daniel. What about you?” I asked him.
“Nothing. I just got off the phone with _______.” Conrad named the girl he liked.
“Oh, how’d it go?” I smiled.

Here:
"It went fine. How'd you think it went?" Konrad asked.
I laughed. "Did you ask her out?"
"No." Konrad said bluntly.
"Why not?" I sighed. "What am I gonna do with you?"
"BECAUSE I don't know." Konrad replied. "What were you doing?"
"I was talking to Daniel." I replied. "Don't change the subject."
"Oh, sorry. You can call him back." Konrad said.
"No, it's-" I started to say but my friend had already hung up. I sighed, and pushed the speed dial button for Daniel. He answered on the second ring.
"That was fast." He remarked.
"Konrad's being weird." I explained to him the conversation.
"Poor guy." Daniel pitifuly said.
