Bella's eyes widened.
She covered her face and turned into Dirk's shoulder.
"No, it can't be true!" she murmured to herself.

"Do not fear!" yelled King Herod as the room was a buizz of words. All grew silent.
"There is a way. Dirk...I'm sorry, but we have to postpone the wedding until the month after the date we planned."
Dirk just shrugged, gently holding Bella as she was murmuring to herself.
"Bella, listen to me, I swear on my crown I shall see myself dead first before letting you die," stated King Herod, gripping the knife and then shattering it to pieces with his knee.
"We will take precautions to ensure your safety."

Bella nodded silently, disbelieveing and shocked at all that had happened in the past few hours.
