King Herod heard the knock on his door.
"Whatever you are selling, I don't want any," he stated, busily scribbling at his parchment and not glancing up.

Herod stopped scribbling.
"Heaven preserve us, either there is a giggle bug in here or..."
Herod got up from his chair and opened the door, seeing his eldest daughter and one of her friends behind her.
"Or we have a guest," he stated, smiling broadly and chuckled, his portly belly jiggling slightly and his gold necklace around his neck bobbing up and down with movement.
"I see," stated King Herod, after he stopped chuckling.

"Father, may I present Princess Hailey. She just arrived and we were wondering if we may visit the market?" she asked polietly.
 
Jadie felt lonely, and went to buy a puppy. She came back, and hid her dog in a bag.

ooc: in almost every rpg I have a puppy, lol

ic: Her puppy rolled up in a ball and was on the floor.

"Forgiveness accepted," stated King Herod gallantly to Asterodeia , brushing it away as if it was nothing.
"Market? The Market? I hope you mean the inner castle market, young lady. The outer market is no place for princesses, especially ones that are my daughters. Thieves, ruffians....they are a bad lot. You may go to Market, but take Dirk with you. Nice lad, high breeding, once shot a bear."

OOC: NPC I made up. He is a boy about Bella's age who is also a rather snobbish Prince. He hunts mostly. He is good looking, but amazingly has no courtship with anyone yet. Obviously, Herod is trying to play Matchmaker, but he is not very good at it, he only wants her to marry Dirk for the goodness of the kingdom, not exactly for her heart. lol.

IC:
"He is about Isabella's age," he stated.
"Good girl," stated King Herod, bowing lightly to her and Hailey before entering back into his study and shutting the door.
He sat back down at his table, murmuring to himself about funds as he picked up his quill, re-dipped it and scribbled on the parchment some more.
