kisses in children's/teens literature

My favorite: The kiss the wind brings Santiago from his true love Fatima at the end of The Alchemist.

The kisses between Numair and Daine in Tamora Pierce's Immortals quartet. Well, they don't kiss until the last book - but it's so grand when they finally do.

Another favorite kiss scene of mine.
Book is Wildwood Dancing. (Which has the fantastic combination of historical Transylvania period stuffs, a vampire-romance that has actual class, and a frog-prince)

Anyways kiss is between Jena and the once-frog-now-prince Costi.
"Wait- Jena!"
"You don't want a kiss?"
"Well it's just that.... what if-"
The same idea has occurred to me. "I don't think you'll turn back into a frog," I said. "That wasn't the first time I'd kissed you after all. I think the curse was lifted when we both learned our lessons."
Costi shut his eyes again. "I'm willing to risk it if you are," he said with a lopsided smile.
So I kissed him, and he kissed me back. There were no explosions. There was no blinding light. When, after a long time, we paused to draw breath, Costi showed no signs of turning back into a frog.
