Last Post Game II

And surely thou, L_A, canst not be displeased by our speaking of this dialect of the English tongue? For insofar as thou art not of a land that doth speak English, thou dost know it nonetheless, and thou art knowledgeable of Sir William Shakespeare, that great poet, and thou wouldst not have persued the reading of said poet unless thou didst find his work pleasing to thine ear, and if that be pleasing to thee, how couldst thou be displeased by such words spoken by others?

True that, my dearest friendly adversary. Thou doest speaketh the Old English dialect impecably well.

And I thank thee for that compliment, Oh IOWW of Iasc. For in truth, though not terribly difficult, 'tis neither an easy thing to speak such as this, when one hath been raised to a more modern turn of speech, and although one may have read many books written in the same speech, 'tis not the same as speaking it onesself. And, if I may say so, thou art no mean scholar at the same method of speech, and indeed, thou hast had more experience in it than I, being of the older group of members on this Forum.

Aye, Wise Olorin, I haveth spent many a year enjoying this very forum. Infact, in a matter of three months, I shall be celebrating my two year anniversary as a posting benefactor of the TDL.

Ay, and I, too, at the end of this month of September, celebrate the anniversiary of that happy date upon which I embarked upon this ship of this screenname, on which to sail the waters of this Forum, and never once have I regretted this descision to do so, for it hath gladdened my life, and I am exceeding joyful.

Noweth, I must pause our current tongue of speaking for a song.

We've got to work, work, work this out.
We'll make this right!
The Suuun will shine. :D
