Jordan stopped after she past the car garage and looked around. She was sure she'd come down the street across from her, but it didn't look formilar. She sighed and pulled out her map. It was no help, the little streets weren't on it. She turned around and walked back to the car garage. She walked in the front door and took her sunglasses off.

"Oh it'll be perfect for mother and daughter bonding." Lillian Gregory told her daughter, Kendra a few hours before.
"Yeah right" Kendra said to herself, thinking of how her mother coaxed her to go to one of her friends parties. She really didn't want to go to a party that one of her mom's friends was throwing, but it was a chance for her to spend time with her mother. So there she was dressed up for some stupid Garden Party that she was supposed to be spending time with her mother, yet Lillian Gregory was too busy chatting with a few of her middle aged friends while getting a little tipsy from a fancy cocktail she was sipping, while Kendra sat at an unoccupied table looking rather bored.

Nate laughed.
This time it really wasn't my fault. There was some broken glass on the floor after I left my cousins house last night. He had a party that got a little out of hand and I drove right over the glass. He typed back. He was too busy typing away oon his cell to notice the girl that had just entered.

Jordan turned when she heard laughing. She hadn't notice him sitting there when she walked in. She hadn't notice much of anything when she walked in, she was to busy trying to figure out where she was. She watched him for a minute then slowly walked over. "Excuse me."

Exactly Nate began typing when he heard a girls voice. He lifted his head to see the girl that he was pretty sure just jogged past.
"I don't work here" he replied thinking she needed some assistance with her car.

Jordan smiled slightly. "I actually need directions," she said. She looked at the map she was holding, "the maps not much help."

"Oh...right..." well Nate certainly felt like an idiot. He smiled nicely.
"Do you mind?" he asked taking the mao from her. "You're here" he pointed at a small building near the side of the road. "That's the garage. Where are you trying to get to?" he asked her.

ooc: Oooh, can David's mom be at the party??

ic: Mrs. Hart came scurrying over to where her son was arranging clothes. "David, I have wonderful news! Your shift ends early today! I'm going to a party today, and you get to come along with me."

David gasped. "No way, mom. No way."

"I insist. Here, put these on and be ready to go in fifteen minutes." Mrs. Hart handed David a crisp white shirt and dark blue dress pants. Hidden in between the folds was a hard lump... cologne, as David found out later.

Jordan looked at the map for a minute and pointed to another building that was near where she lived. "There"

"You jogged all this way?" Nate asked amused. "Right.." he began standing up. He was a little new to the town himself but he had found his way round very easily. He walked over to the window. "If you carry on down this road.." he told her the exact instructions from the spot they were at right to her front door. He also wrote it down on the other side of the map just incase she forgot.
"If you follow this you definately wont get lost" he added sure of himself.

Jordan grinned, "thanks." She took the map and read through the directions. She smiled slightly, she was going the oposit way, its a good thing I asked for directions. She looked back up at Nate. "Thanks again," she walked towards the door then looked back at him, "I'm Jordan by the way."

ooc- sure :p

Kendra sighed tapping her foot impatiently. She was rather upset at the fact that her mother basically ditched her. Kendra looked over in her mother's direction and shook her head noticing the amount of alcohol she was consuming.

ooc: Lol, I'm bored XP

ic: Mrs. Hart practically had to drag David to the party. He complained the whole way there, but as soon as they arrived, he shut himself up and decided to just not say anything. Mrs. Hart wandered off to greet friends, while David lingered around the food tables, keeping his hands shoved in his pockets.

"Nate and you're welcome" he replied smiling back.
"Nate we've just finished with your car" Carl said interrupting the conversation. "We've had to completely replace all four tyres. What the hell did you do? Run over a hegehog?"
"No...long story. Thanks Carl, I owe you one"
"Yeah...just pay me my money" he replied smiling.
Nate laughed and gave Carl his cash and Carl in return gave Nate his keys.
"Hey, I could give you a lift if you want. You are quite a distance away from your house" he offered picking up his jacket.

Jordan thought for a minute, "ok, that'd be great." She hadn't relized she'd joged as far as she had, she'd need to keep that in mind for her jog tomorrow.

Lillian finally decided to converse with her daughter after finding out that Mrs. Hart and her son were there.
"Kendra dear, why don't you go talk to the young man over there." Lillian suggested pointing to David.
"Hmm, okay" Kendra smiled, giving David a once over and liked what she saw, plus he looked kinda familiar...wait wasn't he in her History class.

"See ya Carl"
"Not for another month hopefully" Carl replied returning to his office.
"He's only joking. I'm his most valueable costumer. Without me he'd be out of business" Nate joked as they walked outside.
"So where are you from? I take it you've only just moved here" he said with a guess. He pressed a button on his car keys and the Range Rover doors unlocked.

Jordan opened the door and hopped in. "Well, I never really lived in one place for more than a few months." She hooked her seat belt. "My parents thought it was fun to move every few months," she said rolling her eyes. "Are you from here?" she asked looking at Nate.
