"I know how that feels. We actually just moved here a couple of months ago so some places are still new to me but I know this area very well. Our house is only a block away." he started the engine and put his seat belt on.
"I almost forgot" he said as they pulled out of the garage. There was champagne and flowers on the back seat. "My mother is attending this party or something and asked me to pick those up and bring them. You don't mind if we make a quick stop, its on the way" he said turning down the road.

Jordan smiled. "Ok," she looked back at the flowers. "they're pretty." She turned around and looked back at Nate, " where'd you live before here?"

"My mother's a nature fanatic" he said. "New York. It's great if you like shopping and tall buildings" he added. "Here it is" he pulled up into the long drive that led right to the doors of the huge mansion. He could just about picture all the talking slightly drunk women that were inside. "I'll be back in a minute" he said looking at Jordan before he stepped out of the car. He grabbed the flowers and champagne from the back seat and headed for the door. The bulter opened the doors.
"Hello Nathaneal"
"Gerrad" Nate replied. He hated that name. "I've come to cdeliver some things for my mother" he said as he entered.
"Everyone is in the main room"
"Thanks"

Jordan watched him go in. She pulled out her map and looked at it. She might as well try to learn her way around while she waited for him to get back. After a few minutes she put the map down and looked out the window at the mansion. It was beautiful but huge.
 
Nate spotted his mother immediately, talking slightly loud and holding a glass of wine in one hand, illustrating her words with the other. He didn't want to go over because he knew she would make him introduce himself to all the mothers and then drag him into staying. Instead Nate placed the bottle of Champagne on the table with all the other food and asked one of the on gaurd waiters to find a vase for the flowers. He also asked them to tell his mother that he had being round after he had left. He glanced around the room and saw two people he was sure went to his school.
'Unlucky' he thought as he headed for the door.
 
Jordan pulled her hoodie off and put it on the back seat and started twisting her hair around her fingures. She back at the mansion. She wondered if there was a garden behind it. She was tempted to get out and go look but she decided she better stay in the car.
 
Nate came strolling out through the doors with his hands in his pockets. He walked casually to the car and got in.
He drove out of the drive way and back onto the main street. "So where did you live before?" He asked glancing at Jordan but keeping his eyes mainly on the road.

Jordan looked out the window. "Greece for 5 months, Egypt for 3 months, California for 6, Rome for 8 and now here." She glanced at Nate, "not that exciting."

He laughed slightly "wow you've been around. Welcome back to America". He parked infront of her house. "Nice house" he said looking at it through the window. "Which school are you going to?" he asked switching the engine off.
 
Jordan looked at him, "there's more than one?" She smiled slightly, "I'm not sure what the name is, it's not very far from here."

"Yes" he replied. "Most states have more than one high school. I know the one you're talking about. Thats the same school I'm enrolled in so I guess I'll see you Monday" he said with a smile.

ooc:It'll be the same school that all the other kids go to :p

ooc:Nate was IMing Kylie. If you want Sunshine after Nate drops Jordan he can drive past your character or something :)

ic:Nate laughed. "Yes, but dont worry, unlike these streets there are directions everywhere. They get a lot of foreign students enrolling there. But if you find you're truely lost I'm sure you'll be able to find me" he replied with a friendly smile.
