There's no need to ask to delete the thread. You said your opinion and stated your point. Let others state theirs also.

And regarding the scene, I do not think it looks like dog poop, but the "garden" does look silly to me, not weird, not magical, just plain... I'll say it by golly: stupid. I didn't like it since the first time I saw it a few months back.

On the other hand, and talking purely artistic here (not storyline), I have to see how the rest of the scene plays and how the characters are integrated into that environment.

fine,but I already asked specter to delete it so don't be surprised if this is gone soon.
I just never imagined ANY of the stuff the way it is shot. I didn't imagine Caspian looking like a 30 year old,I imagined him still looking the way he did in PC(since they were stuck with him)
and the giant monster or whatever(according to my sister) looks like a giant blue hot dog with a mouth...(thats not my opinion.)
I just find it disappointing.
On the up side,they did not make Caspian look DISGUSTING like he did in a few early shots,Lucy was NICELY touched up,The ship isn't all tooo bad and Laura was cast nicely.

But I am disappointed on the witch STILL BEING ALIVE!(How do they explain the Lady of the Green Kirtle next huh? will there be TWO WITCHES????)
The ship,the end theme song and will poulter...I just always imagined Eustace as looking just a bit more emo....
I was getting a bit suspicious as to why(stop me if I'm wrong) Ben looked a little legolas-y in one scene.....

Um, the witch isn't alive. She's a dream. It's been confirmed by several people. As for the LotGK and two witches, I think the answer should be yes. She's NOT the White Witch. NOT! (At least I hope they don't make it that way. It's just wrong, to me. And a lot of other people.) Of course, some people would disagree, in the same way I disagree with your opinion of the Dawn Treader film; I don't like a lot of what I've seen (like the design of the Dark Island and the many plot changes), but I'm still excited about it and I'm not going to judge it until after I seen it. Please don't feel offended by people disagreeing with you. You haven't been insulted or anything.
 
I had to get a laugh at the TITLE of this thread. Who would ever have an INTENTIONAL mishap? :p
 
I think the garden looks pretty silly. I haven't liked it from the start. It was the one available wallpaper that I didn't download for my computer. :p But I'm sure I'll like the movie regardless- even LotR had unrealistic moments.
 
They had to advertise it like that. MGM wouldn't give them the rights to use "Ding dong, the Witch is Dead!" in the commercial. :D

even more so,it is STILL very irritating that she just keeps coming back and coming back and coming back...after LWW,thats it! in PC they suggested bringing her back,not "oh we did,and then an angsty fight broke out"

I do hope they get the interrogation of Pug right though(would it be considered interrogation?) Ben has the perfect eyes for that...gosh darn if its wrong(or not in there) I might just.....

It's not rude when you're doing it at people who are making things up. It isn't. And to me, it's rude when you're making presumptions and you don't even bother to consider the fact that maybe, just maybe, the Witch's role has been played up to more than what it actually is.

But I have a feeling that you'll like the movie anyway just because of Ben. And THAT'S not a good reason. Your previous statement proves that.

Aw. Sorry. We only had one LionCon and that's it. But we've had other events from time to time. Next time I hear of something similar, I'll let you know and maybe you and your family can come.
 
Wanted to draw attention to this: Cartoon Network is running a sneak peek of Dawn Treader tomorrow night at 6 p.m. I don't know if that's Central or Eastern, and I don't know what it's running with, but might be interesting. I plan to be watching. ;)

I don't think she likes to rattle people, but I find that in every single disscussion we always happen to be on the opposing sides of the argument.
