My Rant...

Hmmmm- strong words, Iamnotdreaming, ouch. I sort of agree, but no need to smear. I'm a girl, a Jamesnite. One question- are you an Anna or Georgie fan? Do you visit their threads alot?

On the flipside, I've been annoyed for a while too. There are adjectives other than "Omigosh he's so hott!" you know.

I've made my point. Who's side am I on? Good question...
 
I suggest we install a filter on the forum that substitutes hott with two T's with "neato", hottt with three T's with "peachy" and hotttt with four T's with "snooky wooky". :D

Also I think these more extreme fan elements need to be moved to the religion forum where they can be debated in the proper environment. ;)
 
Dear friends ... teenaged girls are what they are. You might as well get on the Great Cats forum and complain that the cougar does not get enough attention because of all those people obsessed with tiger stripes. The mods do their best, if a new star-Thread is opened, to merge it with the existing Thread, so the new Thread only appears on your NEW POSTS screen for a short time, if it appears at all. In the meantime, the dear girls enjoy their William and Skandar Threads just as much as the rest of us enjoy the other Narnia Threads ... and maybe someday when the fan-girls turn 16, 17 or 18, they will notice all these other Threads and join in the conversation. Til then, God bless 'em.
 
as a skandarnite (albeit not nearly as obsessive of one, i'm hardly ever posting there) I will say that if you were ever brave enough to look at a few pages of the 25,000 page skandarnite thread, you'd find that we really don't talk about skandar that much. I think there's a good 400 pages in there of us playing I Spy. (yeah I know, weird!) yes there is a bunch of i luv skandar pages and I get a little tired of it too but for us older members at least its more a common bond and a way we've made friends. so now its sort of a chatting time with good friends on the board.

That aside, I can't guarantee them growing out of it, I'm the oldest Skandarnite at the moment at 22 that I know of so you may have to wait a while for the growing out of skandar obsession to start.

But I have seen you around in other Threads, onlymystory, so it isn't as if you are only here for the skandarnites Thread. You are more balanced!
 
this is true, inkspot. thanks for saying so. Actually, i'm one of the first skandarnite, (just after SK21, Rogue, and Chloe) but I'm over there so little most of the skandarnites have no idea who i am.
