New Wonka Movie

I missed the beginning of Finding Neverland, but from what I saw, I thought the movie was great! Johnny Depp was perfect in the movie, and the kids did a really good job acting. I would buy that movie if I had the money... :(

Hello! I saw Wonka on vacation and loved it!!! I also saw Finding NeverLand on DVD and loved that. Johnny Depp is wonderful. I started my family playing the "Corrupt a Wish Game," and when I wished Johnny Depp were my nextdoor neighbor, they said, "Granted, but he can't stand you!" Ouch!!!

I have read both Wonka books, and both are brilliant. Roald Dahl was a fabulous author, in my opinion.

I want to see it again, but my husband won't go! I took the kids while we were on vacation, but now they are too busy, plus they can't risk going with me to the movies when we are back in their hometown, what if their friends see them? I feel like being old and married to their dad = black plague in their minds ...

I have only seen it once, but I want to go again before it leaves the cinemas. I may have to go by myself if everyone is so petrified of buboes that they won't go with me. I found it to be very hysterical.

Awwww Inky! Come to Britain, rather than being frowned upon, buboes are generally found quite acceptable! Come see it one of our rip off cinemas!!

What is a rip-off cinema?
Is it like the dollar cinema? When movies get old here, before they leave the silver screen entirely they are bounced to the dollar cinema where you can see it in crummy surroundings for a single dollar. This is how I saw "Raiders of the Lost Ark" for about 60 consecutive nights during my mis-spent youth.

No - rip off means outrageously charged, like what tg went to in London. Man - i gotta learn to speak American!
No, you did fine, rip-off means the same thing. I just didn't understand the spirit in which it was said, but I should have known -- the pound is worth so much more than the dollar. Lucky you!
