Official Laura Brent Thread!!

At first I really didn't want her to have a name, like in the book, b/c I thought it would keep that aura of mystery about her. But the name Mr. Gresham picked is so incredibly gorgeous and mystical-sounding that now I don't mind at all. :D

It definitely makes writing fanfiction easier. No more having to stress over trying to come up with a name for her, which I unfortunately did 2 years ago. It was a grueling process, and the name I came up with was nowhere near as lovely as Lilliandil :p

The only problem I had with her original name was that it always drew attention back to Ramandu and it made her sound like property, like she was his painting. :)

Yes, it would make him quarter-star...it's an interesting thing to keep in mind, since people seem to forget that since his mom was part-star, he must have some star-like qualities too. It'll be interesting to see who they cast for him, given that info...

I wonder if Relian will then be more majestic, fairer in appearance than his father. It would be a nice touch if they added a sparkling effect to Rilian's eyes, it would make him striking. :)
 
Well, to be fair, she is a little too glowy - but other than that she looks very lovely. I am very excited for our Ramandu's Daughter...she even has a name! :)

Maybe she's only like that at night. It would look a bit strange in daylight.

Well, I hope Caspian isn't the kind of person who has to sleep in total darkness. That would be bad:p

On the other hand, I wonder if he will need a night light in the silver chair after he's spent so long with the glow in his room.:rolleyes:

Overall the glow will not make or break the film for me. I kind of expected it. Still can't wait to see the movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
