Official Tilda Swinton

Well I think I should have enclosed a picture of all my White Witch goodies so Tilda could see how dedicated a fan I am. :p

Maybe that should have been a good idea lol :)..I sent her a copy of a drawing I made of her (the one posted in this thread). And another one with the text "Tilda,YOU ROCK!" I also wrote a VERY long letter about what a wonderful actress she is :) I hope she will read it personally...you can never be sure,though...but it's a bit more personal than if you'd buy a signed photo from Ebay :p

I think Tilda Swinton is mad ugly but a very good actress. Her face is just so scary, and weird!

I don't think she is ugly..she has a special look but ugly...no.As the White Witch,OK I agree, she looks scary but REMEMBER she doesn't look like that in real life at all.She looks much nicer. And I don't think she's evil, either :p

I don't think she's ugly at all. She has a very different, unique beauty, with strong, unusual features. I don't go for the classic Barbie doll type ideal of beauty. She has the kind of features and body type that would look great on a runway model...tall, slim and elegant.

I agree with you all the way.Anyway,it's what's inside that counts, and Tilda seems to be such a lovely person that I wouldn't care about her look even if she had hair all over her face or something. But she's NOT ugly, she's beautiful in a special and unique way.

What I love is her ability to be chameleon-like...and play vastly different roles. Plus, like I said, she's interested in acting as a craft and an artform, not just to make money and be 'famous' like a lot of movie 'stars'. She's starred in very different, alternative roles in small budget movies as well as bigger budget ones, and in each role she looked very different. She'll definitely be remembered as Jadis!!!! :D

I agree with you on that IceMaiden :D

I don't like the standard, cookie cutter Barbie doll Hollywood and American standard of beauty anyways, and I never did, since I don't fit that mold. When someone doesn't look like 'Heather Locklear" their beauty often gets overlooked. Tilda is one of these special and unique beauties, and her look to me is far more outstanding, along with her strong acting talent, than any girl next door.

IceMaiden has spoken, people :) Honestly,I couldn't agree more about what you said.I've never liked the Barbie doll beauty either.I don't understand how some people only seem to notice that kind of beauty. It's crazy!

I love Tilda Swinton's acting - it is incredible!

I remember watching behind the scenes of her on the Narnia DVD I think it was and she is sitting drinking cofee and Skandar comes up and with her walkie-talkie thing she pretends to stab him! :D

I want to be a Tilderite! I might send her a letter too!

That is exactly what I said when I first looked at the face of this beautiful statue! I'm glad this one is part of your collection too, IM! :D

It's an even better likeness that the Weta statue. I'm debating on whether or not to keep the big box and the styrofoam that she was delivered in.
