Yes...I do have the White Witch Weta statue.... But I like the Disney figure statue better because of its size, dress, and facial features look just like Tilda Swinton. The Disney one is just simply magnificent in its detail and coloring...and once again, off ebay, a great discounted item!!!!!

The action figure kinda looks like Tilda Swinton too :D But IM,that figure was AMAZING! It was like looking right at her!

The Beach

Ok,on Friday night I went to bed early,because I was so tired but when I finally lay in my bed I couldn't sleep,so I turned on my TV.And after looking around for a good movie or something else to watch for a while,I discovered that The Beach was on TV.So...I watched it(though I was too young for it really,but luckily I'm not that sensitive for those "cough cough-things" :D).Once again amazing acting by Tilda.She did such a great job.If I ever get the story I'm writing turned into a movie,I'm gonna make sure that they put Tilda in it! She would be perfect for one of the main characters.
 
Can you describe what the main character looks like, personality etc?
I'm writing a book too but I don't think there is really a character that is strong like Tilda enough and if she was in it she would only have a quick glimse!

I feel sooo sorry for Tilda with her heavy wig and outfit that she had to be stuck to a board that keeps her back straight and gives her a rest during takes, but she never complained!

The Beach was with Leonardo Di Caprio, right? The only other movie I have seen so far with Tilda was that dumb movie with Keanu Reeves called CONSTANTINE. She was awesome in there as the wicked angel ( I love her playing wicked parts)..but so far have not had a chance to see other Tilda movies, especially if she has a very small role in them.

Yeah,Leonardo was in it,that's right.Tilda had a pretty big role in The Beach,which I found good,because she did the best performance in it,no doubt about that (just my opinion).
By the way,she was kinda wicked in this movie also.

Describe the character...well,she is tall (of course :p),green eyes,dark blonde hair (like shoulder length),pale skin...dressed in neat clothes.That's the character's look,which is very much what Tilda looks like (and the funny thing with this is that I started writing the book before I even knew who Tilda was!:eek: ).The personality...well,it's not a happy character,to start with.She had this horrible husband,who hit her and made her think she wasn't worth anything,and then he took their daughter with him and left her.So,when the story begins,she is very depressed..but as a personality,she is...quiet,artistic,a bit shy..yeah,that's her.
I think Tilda would be perfect for that part..and I agree with you,I felt sorry for her too,with that heavy wig and that dress..but I find it amazing that she never complained.That kind of reminds me of myself actually,I never complain at something either.I keep the pain inside me instead :)
 
She must enjoy playing 'slightly' or 'very' wicked roles :). In Constantine she played an angel who betrays God ( big no no!!!) and gets punished...severely at the end. Other than her role as the androgynous angel ( she was dressed like a young man in pinstripes) that movie was not interesting at all. I remembered her face immediately when I saw the advertisements for Narnia a long time ago. I said " Hey that's the lady who played the bad angel." :D

Yeah,I suppose she likes to play wicked roles (who wouldn't?).But she does it very good! :D

Hey Jadis :)I love your newest signature there. You have the coolest Tilda siggys. There was a little bit of a debate in a thread about who plays a better White Witch...Barbara Kellerman from the BBC's LWW or Tilda Swinton. I haven't seen Barbara Kellerman, but I don't think she's good-looking. Have you seen the BBC version of the White Witch?

Tilda is also the official muse ( representative and ideal of beauty) for the couture designers from Belgium VIKTOR AND ROLF...her tall, slender frame and strong features are a reflection of their simple and elegant designs.

Yeah she is,and that is very cool! When I watched The Beach I noticed she was like taller than the guys :D She really fits for design thingies.
