Um....no I dont think it has anything bad in it. It has ALOT of music too :D

Are you kidding me?? I LOVE RITCHIE VALENS. OMG.
"Oh Donna" is my family's favorite because my moms name is Donna :D

Its so sad that they were all killed, in the SAME crash. Such waste of talents. *is sad* :(

Thanks!*Will look for it*:D

I also ♥ "La Bamba".:DOh,neat-o!Thats a pretty name.Always reminds me of the actress Donna Reed who I like.:p

Yeah,very sad..so many celeberties die in plane crashes for some reason-Glenn Miller,Jim Reeves,Ricky Nelson,ect....:(
Supposidly Dion was supposed to be on that plane, but changed his mind at the last moment.

I generally listen to a lot of music from the 80s/70s/60s, but not much older than that. I am a really big fan of Queen though! Bohemian Rhapsody is probably the best song ever written! :D

I grew up listening to the golden oldies, my parents listened to them all the time. I like alot of oldies music between 50s-70s, but my favorites are probably Frankie Valli and the Beach Boys. My mom is taking me to see Jersey Boys for my birthday :D (It's an on stage musical based on the history of Frankie Valli and the 4 seasons.) I've seen it once before, but I can't wait to see it again!

Yay!!!So glad to know theres still some people who love old music.

:DLove The Beach Boys and the Four Seasons!!!:D

Anyone like 1920s? I like the dance music from that era, like "The Charleston",and "The Big Apple".:D

Well, sometimes I say old music is the best.

But that it´s not true, I do like some new stuff too.

But definitely I listen a lot to 80s music , maybe I am not retro fan, I am just remembering old days, but 80s music is just special, probably one of the best ever.

Audrey I love the 20's jazz stuff, and dances like the Charleston and Big Apple...and the Lindy Hop!! My favorite :D

I was just reading in Reminice(magazine I get) about the Lindy Hop!:DBut I haven't heard the music for it.
1920s dances were sooo funny.:p

I love older music too!

20's-30's: Jazz and Blues (this was the best time for both genres)

30's-40's: Big Band (Glenn Miller) and WWII music (hard to find, but worth listening too)

50's-60's: Golden age of rock and roll. Buddy Holly, Elvis, Everly Brothers, Beach Boys, and so many more.

60's-70's: Used to listen to Zeppelin and Stones almost exclusively in college. Zepp fell out of favor for me fast though.

70's-80's: Journey, Styx, Rush, Foreigner (the ballad bands), also some new wave is fun in small doses.

^I love almost everything you like.:D
Haven't heard the 70s and 80s groups you mentioned,but love everyone else.:D
Oh,I ♥ WWII music, but it is very hard to find...Like The Dorsey Brothers?Or Kay Kyser?:)

Basically I was talking about 80s new wave, European New Wave and Italo Disco, it´s the best thing I have ever heard. That music was so new back then. There are many many artist form that period, 80s music is a whole big universe of amazing music.
I was a huge huge fan of that music in my younger years and rright now I find it even more amazing.

And the heavy metal bands: Iron Maiden, Scorpions, Bon Jovi, Guns n Roses, Def Leppard, they all have their amazing music in the 80s.

Basically I am more fan of European music, even right now.

80s rocks!

Retro music has some soul in it which makes the songs classic. No matter how they revive or create a new version to it, nothing can surpass the beauty of the originals. In addition, this genre is what i can call "real music" while the new generation sounds are more of a noise and after the hit... most of them are not remembered. ;)
