Peepiceek's Odd-One-Out Quiz

#19.
(a) Digory to Uncle Andrew
(b) Susan to Lucy
(c) Rabadash to the Tisroc
(d) Miraz to Glozelle

#20.
(a) King Frank’s crown
(b) The golden chessman
(c) Lord Octesian’s bracelet
(d) The fruit of the trees of Bism

19 is d--they are not related.
20 is d--the fruit is still precious jewels, but they're living and not dead, IIRC.

I think I might need books for the rest of these...

Re: the food one. Could it be that the characters are ambivalent about eating all of them except the venison--which turns out to be evil?

You have the right connection (appearance), but not the right answer.

Peeps

Okey, I change to this:

Ilgamuth had a twisted tounge, The Daughter didn't look very well and Rilian had the armor (and didn't look to well during the enchantment), so none of them looked very well. Swanwhite is the odd one because she is the only beutiful one.

#18.
(a) “The D.L.F. had better steer, and Ed and I will take an oar each.”
(b) “When she fails me, I paddle east in my coracle.”
(c) “We’re back on the right lines. We were to go under the ruined city, and we are under it.”
(d) “The Lion’s orders, Sire. Aslan himself.”

They are all speaken on water. (a) close to the island, (b) on the Dawn Treader, (c) on the underworld river and (d) in the Lantern Waste river.

I think (b) is the odd one because it is not speaken in a boat, but on a ship

Or, still (b) because it only refers to a boat (Reeps boat)

#4.
(a) A banquet that surpassed those of Peter’s court at Cair Paravel
(b) Some rich brown loam
(c) A fine meal after the Calormene fashion
(d) Some cold venison

The crew is suspicious to the food at Aslans Table, The clay looks more taste then it is (and is then suspicious), and when the children and Puddleglum get to know what they eat they get suspicious of the food. so (c) is the odd one because Shasta is never suspicious to the calormene food.

I can't really understand this one, this is my last try...

#15.
(a) The White Witch’s house
(b) The Stone Table
(c) The stable in The Last Battle
(d) The Garden with the Tree of Youth in it

All the places had something with death (you can say that turned into stone is a kind of death). Jadis Palace where a prison for her enemies turned to stone, The Stone Table were used for executing enemies, The Stable were used by Shift to execute the narnians. the odd one is the Garden, because that only warned you for death (By taking a apple)

tame lion is repetead, so i guess that (c) is the odd one because it is only mentioned once?
Correct - we got there in the end! (a), (b) and (d) are all repeated phrases. (c) is one of the four signs given to Jill, which she repeated over and over, but the text itself is not repeated in the book.

They are all halls, but (a), (c) and (d) are in tashban, but (b) is in Charn.
Also correct: specifically, (a), (c) and (d) are all in the Tisroc's palace.

Ilgamuth had a twisted tounge, The Daughter didn't look very well and Rilian had the armor (and didn't look to well during the enchantment), so none of them looked very well. Swanwhite is the odd one because she is the only beutiful one.
Close enough. They are all noted for having something wrong with their face, except for Swanwhite whose face was so beautiful that if she looked into a pond it would shine with her reflection for a year and a day afterwards.

They are all speaken on water. (a) close to the island, (b) on the Dawn Treader, (c) on the underworld river and (d) in the Lantern Waste river.

Also correct. (b) is actually spoken on land but about a boat, while all the others are spoken while on the water.

The crew is suspicious to the food at Aslans Table, The clay looks more taste then it is (and is then suspicious), and when the children and Puddleglum get to know what they eat they get suspicious of the food. so (c) is the odd one because Shasta is never suspicious to the calormene food.
I think I need to give you the answer to this one - it is a little obscure. The answer is that they are all meals that the eater should not have eaten, except for (a) which they were perfectly entitled to eat but believed that they shouldn't. (b) was the loam eaten by Edmund, but he regreted it because it was for the trees; (c) was a meal that Shasta ate, but it was intended for Corin; (d) was a talking stag, which should not have been eaten.

20 is d--the fruit is still precious jewels, but they're living and not dead, IIRC.
Neither of these. For 19, what you say is true, but not specific enough. This is about something said.

For 20, you're right that it's about jewels, but you haven't got the right answer.

I like that answer, although I don't think death is threatened for entering the garden, only despair. In any case, it's not the answer I was looking for. It's about the places themselves, rather than anything that happened there.

Did I get corect for the "Appearence"?

No, I don't think it was obscure. I should have thought of it!

#19.
(a) Digory to Uncle Andrew
(b) Susan to Lucy
(c) Rabadash to the Tisroc
(d) Miraz to Glozelle

The odd one out is a) Digory to Uncle Andrew.

The other three all TOLD the other what to do or gave them instructions while Digory ASKED for the instructions.

#15.
(a) The White Witch’s house
(b) The Stone Table
(c) The stable in The Last Battle
(d) The Garden with the Tree of Youth in it

(d) The Garden with the Tree of Youth in it is the odd one out because it was the only place of life. Or at least neutral. The other three were places where people either died or were at least changed into something else.

I already tried that ;)

That's true, but it wouldn't be specific enough. Loads of people gave or received instructions. I try to select clues for which there would only be a few examples in the entire series.

On #20, Trufflehunter's answer is incorrect, since (c) is set with stones. BK's is true, but not specific enough. This one is not to do with gold, but is to do with precious stones. I could not, for example, have included Queen Helen's crown in this question.

Peeps

#20.
(a) King Frank’s crown
(b) The golden chessman
(c) Lord Octesian’s bracelet
(d) The fruit of the trees of Bism

(d) has no gold at all. so I think it's d instead of c.

Yes, but I meant:

A: Golden crown with jewels

B: Golden chessman with jewels as eyes

C: Golden bracelet

D: A big Jewel

Therefore i thought (C) was the odd one becuase it had nothing to do with jewels. But Peeps says that the bracelet has jewels, so this was wrong.

But Helens crown is just like Franks, except it's mad of silver?

(d) Miraz to Glozelle

Ok then, the odd one out is (d) Miraz to Glozelle because Miraz it's the only one who didn't talk back to the other. The other 3 all talked back to the other person.

(a) King Frank’s crown
(b) The golden chessman
(c) Lord Octesian’s bracelet

Peeps

Ok then, Lord Octesian's bracelet is the odd one out since it was encrusted with diamonds and not rubies. The other had or were rubies.
