Prince Caspian Movie 2008

Really now? Oh, I can't wait that long. Caspian was so good! Oh well...The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe will keep me sane until 2007. So I have to wait for OotP Movie...and the 7th Harry Potter book this year. Is anyone else seeing a pattern?

I think that The Chronicles of Narnia:The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe was a better book than Prince Caspian even though I haven't finished Prince Caspian, LWW kept me more intrested and it was a more marvellous tale than Prince Caspian. I hope that the movie is done extremely well and that when I see it I get a differen perspective of the book. Don't get me wrong I like the book of Prince Caspian but LWW for me was better.

I think that they should not release it on Christmas Day many people don't go to the theater that day and it would kill them at the Box Office.
 
I will DEFINITELY be going to see it on Christmas day. I mean early in the morning and early afternoon is when we(my family) all get together and then after lunch we usually set around and talk or whatever. So I'm sure going to the movies won't be a problem.

BTW, do we know who is playing Caspian? Or will there be auditions?

Not might be so. Because not everyone celebrates Christmas or any holiday related thing around the holidays, so people will be at the movies, thats why they would open a movie C-mas day, b/c people will show up, b/c not everyone celebrates stuff at that time. :rolleyes:
 
Well, firstly it's not a confirmed date and there is a reason for that. Coming from someone who knows a bit about filiming dates/shedules, i am guessing, because TCON: LWW has worked so well in the box office, the filiming dates for the sequel will be set earlier and the sequel will be released earlier. My guess is March - June 2007 as a release for Prince Caspian.
 
2 years doesnt seem that long if you think about it. i mean movies usually take atleats 3 years for the sequel to come out. plus LWW comes out on dvd at easter so im just gunna keep watching that untill PC comes out!

I thought Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix was scheduled for release in Novemeber 2007.
 
From what i've heard anyway they'll be filming PC and VDT together so the kids arn't too old. It'll be good if PC comes out in March 2007.

Auditions havn't been run yet but i think Alexandar Pettyfer (young brit actor) should play Caspian

Well thats good i guess, but i woulnt be suprised if Narnia's release date was pushed back a little, maybe July-August 2007.
 
Yeah i know Harry Potter is big but the films ahve steadily got worse so i think CoN would be a much bigger fish when PC comes out.

Well I disagree that Harry Potter has gotten worse. In my opinion, the goblet of fire was the best one, but I like Narnia more. LWW was the best movie i saw this year. I think Prince Caspian will do extremely well, because many people who went to see this movie loved it, and those who didn't watch it will see it on DVD therefore I think Caspian has a great shot at performing very well in the box office.

I think that PC will do a great job in the box office because a lot of people had seen LWW so they were already familliar with the whole thing. You know, like most people that see the first movie see the sequel to it. I've only read about 115 pages of PC but nothing much has happened. Is anyone worried that some of it will be boring? :confused: :eek:

No it would not be good for PC to come out in March 2007 because not much people will see it. The best would be on Summer or Christmas but not in January, March, April, August, September or October that would kill the movie.

I'd still see it ^_^ but you do have a point because college students probably couldn't get time off. But hey spring break is during march for some people right?

But I think that filming them at the same time is a really good idea, they did that in LoTR my dad said. And yeah, it's good because if they didn't then Will would be like 23 before the movie came out :p
