Caspian walked near Edmund. Both sat in the roof of Aslan's How. Caitlin placed one hand on his shoulder.
- What is wrong with you, Edmund? - She asked him.
His eyes were shiny. He had a lump on his throat.
- I feel lost. I don't know... Kris... she's... I don't know. I don't know how to say this, but I'm... tired. -
- Tired of her? - Caspian asked.
- No, not of her... well, I don't know... when she said she wanted to go home, I just felt sad because she might not be giving Narnia all the... importance that she should. I don't want to distract her that way. I love Kris, but Narnia is my home. I love Narnia more and if I'm strong enough, I'll save it... along my siblings. -
- Love makes us stronger. - Caitlin told him. - Edmund, you should think more about the choices you make. -
- You do as you wish. Don't be with her and then, be sorry. But... maybe when this gets over... - Caspian sighed. - I have that sort of problem. -
- With Emma, right? - Caitlin said. Caspian blushed, looking at Edmund, who smiled.
- Don't you worry. I like you better than Alex. -
Caitlin laughed.
- Maybe you should explain Kris how you feel. - Caitlin held his hand and squeezed it. Edmund felt warm shivers and smiled back.
- Maybe I should. - he told her, staring at her sunny eyes.
- Ahem! - Caspian smiled. - Now, we're on fight, right? We should prepare. -
- Of course. Narnia comes first. - Edmund said, as all returned to Aslan's How.
