Rangers of the Dancing Lawn!

*Back at the Ranger's camp*

"Matey, where these creatures be coming from? We've been fighting them fer over two hours!" the Captain told a nearby pirate as she pierced her sword right through an orc. To her left a group of about 5 trolls marched towards her. She bent down to the ground and took out an axe that had killed an orc in the neck a couple of seconds earlier, and threw it at a troll. She threw it with such a force that it managed to crack his skull. "Fish! Where is IOWW?"

Krueger (fictional pirate) who was hammering a troll to death ducked as an orc came running by with its sword to the side. Fortunately the orc's chest was met with one of Twilight's bullets. "Aye, next time ye ain't gonna be that lucky!" Twilight said as she threw a pistol at Krueger's direction.

Krueger caught the pistol in the air, "Thanks mate!" The orc that Twilight just finished killing was about to reach for the sword of a dead orc when Krueger stomped its hand. "Now, what was it that ye were telling me 'bout IOWW?" she asked as she shot a troll in the head from afar.

"I have a feeling that she aint doing well.." the Captain shouted. Slowly her and Fish were being sorrounded by the enemy in a circle.

"What do we do?" Krueger Asked.

Both the Captain and Krueger held out their swords. "Where be those pesky dragons that were here earlier. How do we call them? Sparky!!!!!" the Captain shouted.

ooc- oy vey. I leave for a week to get a couple teeth removed and look what happens: IOWW dies, Fyn goes mad, and it seems moral is going to dwindle. haha, we've got our work cut out for us. Oh, yeah, pirates one year anniversary is coming up sooner than we think, and we'd better be back to our thread by then!!! :)

ic- Fish was fighting three particularly ugly orcs when she heard Machia's DV. "Matey?" she asked, forgetting for a moment that she was in the midst of a battle. That split second was long enough for an orc to hit her in the stomach. She gasped and fell to her knees, but without losing a beat, swung her cutlass behind his legs and pushed him over. She rolled over as another orc brought his sword down behind her, reached for her pistol and shot him dead. Fish panicked when she still didn't get a response from Machia, quickly shot the last orc dead and ran behind a large boulder. "Machia?" she asked again, "Machia, answer me, where are ye?"
"Fish? 'That ye? Machia 'n me 'n coupla others be about 100 yards due east of the center of battle...t'ain't perty here. Please git--" Dirty Paul answered weakly before he too was cut off.
Fish returned her pistol to her side, but kept her cutlass drawn. She teleported immediately to where Dirty Paul had said they were, and saw about a dozen Orcs dragging off the semi-unconscious pirates. "PIRATES, 100 YARDS EAST NOW. AT LEAST THREE O' YE!" She quickly DV'd the main battle as she drew her pistol again. Within a moment, the Orcs holding Machia and Paul were dead, but as she went to shoot another, a click was all she heard. "Arr...not now!" Fish muttered in exasperation. Just then two other pirates teleported in. "Arr...ye handle those three, ye handle those three, and I'll worry 'bout these four!" Fish instructed. Finally all the Orcs were taken down, but not without casulty. Fish's arm and chest were bleeding badly, and both of the pirates who had teleported in were laying half-unconscious on the ground. "Mateys, the orcs are dead here, but our pirates basically are, too. How're things going over there?" Fish DV'd the main battle. While waiting for someone to find time to respond, she went around checking the pulses of the unconscious pirates. Two were dead, but the rest appeared just knocked out. Fish went over and kneeled next to Machia. "Matey?" she asked, gently shaking him. "Come on, first matey. Ye of all people here need to be awake!"

"Fish, this is Lucy, I be okay. I am fighting with two orcs right now." she breathed heavily.

"I can tell ye, its not lookin so good for us pirates."

*She slashed one of the orc's throat and thrusted her dagger into the abdomen of the other one*

"Do ye need help? Anyone injured? I have Lucy's cordial with me."

"Aye, Lucy, we be needing the cordial fast. We've four injured, including our first mate, and two dead... We need to git them all back to the camp. Are the Orcs still bad o'er there?"

"There are several orcs, but our pirates can handle it, they are strong. "

*She ran to the injured and took our Lucy's cordial immediately out of her pocket. Her hands shook as she opened them and dropped a drop of the liquid into Machia's mouth and she did the same with the others.*

"Thanks, matey!" Fish said to Lucy. She reached down and helped Machia up. "Let's git back to the battle, then. Oh, Lucy, have ye heard anything from IOWW? She be the only one who hasn't checked in recently..."

"She's...what, matey? Wait, yer the one holding the cordial. Ye wouldn't be acting like this unless...IOWW's not...NO, YE JEST DON'T KNOW WHAT YER TALKING ABOUT!" Fish shouted angrily. She ripped the cordial out of Lucy's hands and teleported to the camp.
"Cap'n, Cap'n, where's IOWW at?" Fish asked frantically.

*Lucy put her head down put an orc came and stabbed her arm from the back*

*She grew furious*

"You little pathetic orcs are the ones that killed my friend, my sister."

*She stabbed him again and again and again*

*She looked around but saw no more orcs in sight*

*She fell and looked around the battle field in disbelief*
 
The Captain had not used her Musket when she started seeing the orcs in the back going down. She flung her musket forward and started shooting all around her.

Someone's taking them down!" Krueger said as he shot the pistol that Twilight gave to him.

An arrow went past Aravis' ear when she recognized what kind of arrow it was. "Rangers!....they're finally back!" the Captain said. She took out a sword and launched forward piercing an orc in the stomach while taking the a sword away from that same orc. "Aye, this sword be so much heavier than me refular sword," the captain said as she swung it cutting an Orc's arm.

Fish grabbed her shoulders and shook her. "WHERE IS IOWW?" she shouted. But Lucy just stared at her with tear-filled eyes. Fish fell to her knees, the realization of what had happened finally sinking in. Finally she looked up again. "Lucy, please, jest...take me to her b...her body." Fish said in a voice barely above a whisper.

Fish? Twilight? Machia? have any of ye seen IOWW? I've been 'avin' some strange feelings. And not from fighting. I swear I think I saw IOWW staring at me from afar...but I don't know if I'm imagining things. I mean, I'm not drunk or anything...HAve ye heard news of 'er? I've tried Dving her but she's not responding.

*She teleported and motioned for Fish to follow. They walked through some trees and finally, IOWW layed there, soaked in blood*

"I did all I can in my power to save her, but I couldn't."

*She sobbed*

"Its all my fault, I should have worked faster."

"Cap'n, ye'd be'er git here quick. Lucy's...Lucy's about to take us to IOWW. Ferget whatever Orcs yer battling and jest git here..."

"IOWW!" Fish screamed. She ran to her and tried to soak up the drenching blood. And came the tears. Through blurred eyes Fish frantically tried to revive the long-lifeless IOWW. "Matey, please...." Fish whispered. "Aslan, please." After several moments Fish was still and just sat there crying.
