Yes you got it right love ;) I explain a bit. I am a Hockey fan and on my fav team The Flyers is a player Claude Giroux. He is a fan favorite and I made it a habbit to say girouxtiful instead of beautiful :D My FB friends always know what I say when I use that :D

k, so, two words: Harry Potter. Last movie's coming out and I'm going to go on a Harry Potter craze. I've been reading all the books again and watching the movies again and I am super excited. ^.^ So, I'm going to try and make a few Harry Potter graphics every day for the next few days because honestly, Harry Potter is my life.

k, so I was going to make Harry Potter related graphics yesterday but I wasn't home...

I don't like the first one but whatevs. It's one of my fav scenes from the movie. =D

I don't suppose you would be able to help me with figuring out how to make wallpapers, would you? Pretty Please?? :DI dont know how to make them so that they are big enough and good enough quality etc... And how do you make banners and stuff with the textures in the back, and the person or object of interest on top? (sorry, that was not worded right. :eek:) and where do you get your icon bases?

I'm not a huge fan of the movies either. They leave out so much. =/ But Deathly Hallows Part I was great. Haven't seen Part II yet and I won't be able to see it for like a little over a week since I'm out of town right now and my friends and I want to watch the movies together once I get back, one last time. ♥

For wallies, I always have the people on the bottom and the textures on top. The modes that work best are: multiply, screen, or overlay. It all depends on the texture. I'll mess around with the modes and the opacity to make it look like it's on the bottom,even though it's really not. I'll try to do a tutorial soon but I can't promise how soon it will be. Like I said, I'm not home at the moment so I don't have a lot of time to sit around making graphics. =(

I get my icon bases from here. Although I'll make my own sometimes.

Hehe, it's my second favorite. I love how George sneaks in. XD My #1 favorite is the one where Dobby says "What a beautiful place to be with friends."

I was working on it last night and it was one of those dumb graphics that just doesn't look right, no matter what you do to it. :rolleyes: I must have spent at least 2 hours and it was just starting to look good and all I needed to do was add a brush or two and GIMP froze and I lost all my work. You have no idea how depressed I was. :( I hadn't saved any of my work either -- such an amateur mistake. >.< Gahh. So I obviously wasn't in the mood to start over last night so I did it tonight. I think it looks better than it did yesterday. ^.^ Although I don't like how empty it is. But every time I added a brush or something, it just looked weird. 0.o
