Return of the Lions. (Melia's pide.)

*pops in* Was I in the first one of these? I remember that I was in one with some of you guys.... with tf, and I remember it had something to do with..... *thinks hard* Well it had to do with Lions and stuff.... I can't remember now :( *pops out*

(Hey, Spirited... if you want to make a character and join in, feel free to!

Oh, and thanks AFD for the compliment!)

"I'm not exactly sure" Zion replied to Vatani. The words came out very slowly and delibrately. "Whatever is going on, it's bigger than we first anticipated it to be. Aslan... is there any truth to what the wolf said about Orion's pride being in danger? Should we go to them?"

(Yur welcome AF, havn't spoken to you in what feels like forever! Lol. Spirited, I think that one was the "The Liong King rpg" you were Lina, Kiara's daughter remember? Hehehe...but you can still be a character in this rp!!)

Melia's eyes lit with fear and concern, she looked at Aslan, a look of worried stress play across her face, was Orion really in danger? The thoughts seeemd race through her mind. She stood there, waiting paitnely for him to reply to Zion's quastion.
"What if he's in danger..." She whispered, turning towards the hill in which she same and took a few steps foward, she could feel the heat behind her eyes, nonetheless she pressed the feeling aside, replacing the hurt in her eyes were now bitter vengence. "They better not have hurt him.."

P.S. I may be going out of town...but...*sigh*....probably not...lol...but if by some meracle I get to go to this camp (I...need a ride. lol.) I won't be back till Friday evening. I'll miss you guys if I do get to go!

OOC: A bunch of wolves and hyhena's from Melia's past (See 'Lion rpg') attacked, but Aslan raored and scared them away, but before that the wolves taunted Melia, telling her that soon a darkness is coming that had already struck Orion's pride, now Zion is asking Aslan if this is true, and Melia is worried for Orion. Hope that helped.

Also...to remind everyone, I'll be otta town...till Friday. :)

(Sorry guys, I've been away for so long... my aunt passed away on Saturday and we've been pretty tied up... glad to be back!)

Aslan glanced over at Melia and took in her gaze, noting the look of fear as it crossed her usually cheerful eyes and then changed again... a look that was that was not at all familliar to him.... a look of vengance. He studied her for quite a few moments making for quite a bit of suspense for the rest of the group, save Lilly and the cubs who had gone to find safer quarters. After some time he finally responded, "We shall indeed send a party to investigate. I don't feel that Orion and his pride are in any more danger than ourselves. However it might proove wise to be certian that they are not in need of our help. Melia and I will travel there along with any others who wish to assist. However, we need a fair amount of you to stay behind to protect the others. We are in no immediate danger, but that may change quickly."
Zion stepped forward. "I will stay and keep watch here." he proclaimed. "May your travels go exceedingly well and your arrival come with all due speed."
"Very well, then." Aslan replied. "I trust in your ability to lead the rest of the pride in my absence. We will handle the matter as quickly as is feasable, my dear friend. If you also wish to join the traveling party, please make it known."

(Don't worry about it AF, we understand. Take as long as you need to reply. :) again, so sorry for your loss. :( )

Melia, now staring off beyond the distant hills, weakened under the intence gaze of Aslan. She finally turned to look at him, the anger slowly left her glistening eyes as she listened silently, inwardly noting, pondering every word he said. Though the need for revenge...for justice....was evident even in her posture. Her claws dug deep into the earth, inspired with such emotion as if she were sinking them into the vary heart of their enemy...
She remembered the helpless feelings she had battled as a cub, left behind as she sorrowfully watched her father lead the others to war...again her family were at stake of being fate's next victum and this time Aslan had chosen her first to come along. She looked at Zion once Aslan had finished speaking, her face returned to it's usual soft expression. "It's up to you Uncle Zion." She forced a smile, unlike the one she usually wore, yet nontheless it was the best she could muster at such a time. She then returned her gaze to Aslan for a moment before glaring at the air. "If Orion is in danger...the blood of his offender will pore upon the grounds of Narnia like crimson rain. They will not get away with what they've done..." There was an edge to her tone that none of them had seen before in their many years of knowing her....most even watching her grow into the brave young Queen she is today. Though little did she realize the rage growing within could someday lead to her greatest demise...that is if she is not careful.

Feline looked, confused, up at Lilly. "What's going on?" She asked, now fearful of what might happen next.

Lilly went in the cave plicing the cubs down " Don't worry about everything be all right," she told them " I hope," She said under her breath

The lions and lionesses soon divided themselves into groups; the traveling party and those who wished to remain in their homeland. Zion assured the ones to leave that he would see to it that those who remained would be protected and that they would see to the lands in Aslan's absence. Once this was taken care of, Zion went to check on Lilly and the cubs.

(AFD, that last part you wrote was REALLY good! I'm leaving tomorrow for a conference I've gotta go to for work, but I'll have access to a computer in the evenings, so I'll try not to fall behind!)

(Aww, thanks AF, so was yours! I love your writing style. You could write anything and it'd still end up sounding bueatiful. :) Hope things go well at yur conference thingy!!!^^)

Just before Aslan led the traveling group of lion's out of the safety of their precious homeland, Melia, who was standing at his right, whispered something in the Great Lion's ear. Then after he nodded in agreement to her silent request she turned and ran back to Zion who was presently informing the remaining lion's, lioness's and cub's of the pride, what exactly was going on. Reassuring their worries with gentle words of wisdom and comfort. Melia skidded to a stop right before an oncoming collition with Zion. Her gaze wondered to her mother who had walked up alongside him moments earlier, noting the look of concerned confustion written across her face.
"Don't worry mom, we'll be back in no time." Her voice was more certain then she felt, nonetheless she had told herself she had to stay strong for her family. Managing a weak smile, she enbraced Lilly in a tight hug. Slowly pulling away, she turned to her Uncle. "Please...be careful." Her misty eyes shown up at him as dark memories from a troubled time not so long ago, reserfaced her mind.

(Thanks, AFD! That means a lot ot me! The conference was loooooong with wasssy too much work to do!!! So glad to be back at home and back to my old routine, though I do say I need a ton of sleep... I hope what I'm about to write makes sense but it will probabaly be as clear as mud, lol.)

"Indeed we will, dear one." Zion replied in his usual deep, gentle voice. "Know that my thoughts are with you... and give my best to Orion."

(ha dont worry it made perfect sence!! not so sure what im about to write will though...lol. Glad to have you back!)

"Don't worry..I will." Melisa let out a gentel, yet weak smile and with a tear in her eye, she embraced Lilly and Zion once more before going to join her father. "Alright...I'm ready daddy." She looked at Aslan..the strong look that had wound it's way into her eyes with years and heartache, had vanished. Replacing it was one of a nervous child.

(Yeah, I know I said I wouldn't reply tonight...but I couldnt resist. lolz.)

Aslan quickly noted the change in Melia's face. "All will be made right again in due time, young one." He reassured her gently. "Now we must be on our way. We have a long journey ahead." Then he shifted his gaze to the other lions and lionesses who were going to stay behind. "We will return soon. No matter what may happen, don't give up hope. Don't loose heart." He looked away for a monebt and then back at the group again. "I have a feeling that there will be a bit of trickery in your midst. Stay strong, everyone. If someone tries to tell you things you know aren't true, don't believe them. I have made you wise, and you shall bear that wizdom well." With that Aslan turned and began to walk in the direction of Orion's pridelands.

Silently, Feline watched them leave. She had listened to the adults speak but little of it registered in her young mind. She looked at Lilly helplessly before her gaze traveled over to Zion. "Why...are they leaving?" She asked, innocence shimmering in the cubs sad eyes. She leapt on his back in hopes of getting a better veiw of the group now making their way out of Narnia....out of their homelads..the only ones she had ever known. She glanced at Zong, then back towards the setting sun. "Why can't we come? I wanna go on an adventure!"

Melia drank in Aslan's words as she followed at his side. She glaned behind one last time and gave a reassuring smile despite what she felt inside, before setting her eys on the raod ahead of her... The burden of the untimely journey settled heavily on her soulders. She let out a sigh. "Orion was right...I should not have came alone. Now who know's what has happened to him...and the pride." She looked at Aslan. "Do you really think everything is fine? Maybe I'm just worrying to much...Hyhena's do have the tendency to lie..."

"In due time, dear one...." Zion replied gently to Feline, "In due time you will know more adventure than you will ever wish for. But right now you are young and still have much to learn. I'm afraid that there are other parts of the world that are much harder on a creature than our own land here in Narnia. Here we may face a few trials, but we will always be safe. Now, it's time for you young ones to get a bit of rest. It's been a long day."

Meanwhile, Aslan, Melia and the group continued on their journey. Aslan contemplated Melia's words for a long moment as they trotted and then replied. "I do detect some deception in the hyena's words. However, I'm confident in Orion's ability to make wise decisions. If something should arise, at least we will already have begun the journey on his behalf and he will surely send for us and we will have already made most of the distance. I have no feeling at present that we will find the situation terribly amiss."

Feline let out a long yawn, she rested her head on Zion's mane, listening to his and Lilly's words, she silently contemplated their meaning as the weariness weared on her tired body. "I hope so, because I've always wanted to go on an adventure....Uncle Zion, can you tell me a bedtime story?" She asked, her innocent eye's shining in the first light of nightfall. She glanced down at Zong. "And I think Zong would like to hear one also..."

Melia nodded, mentally noting everything he said. Tears heated her eyes for a reason she was unsure of, as if something wasn't right...she glanced up at the sky. Dark clouds were gathering above them in the young night sky... Squinting hard she could have sworn she seen someone's evil glowing red eyes glaring into her vary soul. Shivering, she sped up, suddenly wanting to get to their destination as soon as possible. She looked at Aslan. "Do you think the storm could be following us?" The moment she spoke the words, a hugr jolt of lighting flashed in the sky, pericing the grounf inches in front of them. Melia let out a scream and leapt back in fear. "What's going on!?"
