Behind the Winn-Dixie

In a community where neighbors don't talk to each other, a little girl goes to the Winn-Dixie grocery store, walks behind it, and sees a dumpster with a dog trapped inside. She is concerned about the dog and jumps in. She invites passersby to jump in with her to help save the dog (she is too short to lift it out). Once everybody has gotten inside the dumpster, they realize that they feel very good feelings toward each other, and very bad feelings toward banana peels and rotten meat.
